When you're lying in a casket and somebody closes the lid, you are too old.

Re: Pistol Pellets: 7.0 gr vs. 8.2 grain ?

Why does it seem that nobody considers the possibility that a pellet that is half a millimeter less precise than pellet X, is just as likely to put that .5mm deviation L, R, H, or L into a higher ring?

Re: Refreshing or resetting eyes between shots

For whatever it might be worth, I carry a little bottle of artificial tears in my range bag. A drop or two does seem to make a subtle difference in "comfort" felt mostly when you blink. Costs 2 or 3 bucks a year, definitely doesn't do anything negative when I remember to use. I have seen a...

Re: Krueger Targets From Atlanta, GA

If you bought multiple packs instead of just one I think you'd see the average shipping cost level out. I don't remember the details but the more targets you buy, discounts kick in in the paper that offset the cost of shipping. Shipping costs are up all across the board.

Re: You wanna buy WHAT?

"the idea is that if I can shoot well with a worse trigger, I'll shoot better with a better one" I don't think this tactic works (in multiple fields) in the way one would hope. Practicing something mechanical that is different (harder) than the actual task you hope to perform just makes yo...

Iron sights/ rulebook query

I know that it is legal, perhaps even common to paint a little white dot on the front post of an AP. My little niece left a small collection of plastic "gemstones" with an adhesive backing, typically used for decorating whatever little kids like to add bling bling to. I placed a tiny one o...

Re: Where are You Aiming Nowadays?

Funny I was just a few hours ago thinking about how strange it is that our $2000.00 pistols are set up (below what we want to hit) for "precision" hits on a very specific printed target, but if you wanted to hit almost any other random " target" like a specific nut or leaf on a t...

Re: Vuity Eye drops

Not to hijack into a different topic but; I sometimes use a drop or two of artificial tears before shooting. I does somehow feel better, slippery, easier to blink. Not a huge night/day difference but for the couple bucks it costs I think worth the (minimal) effort.

Re: The Process Works

Sounds like a great solution for owners of Izzy 46 pistols that when dry fired have a significantly different feel than releasing a pellet. 150 to 200 per day sounds like an awful lot. I dry fire every day, usually for 5 to 15 minutes with several sessions per day. I don't count but I'd be surprised...

Following through can't possibly cause any cause any negatives, it costs you one second per shot. Seems foolish to "gamble" with eliminating the practice.

As for the threads on the cylinders, you'd be surprised what a difference the FWB grease makes when applied the the threads. I know what you're thinking,.... it's not BS. I have witnessed it; buy a little tube of FWB grease.
