I have had this happen to me oh at least 4 times. I would shoot a pellet and i know it went in to the paper target because i can hear it hit my pellet trap. However, I would see 2 holes but i shot 3 times.

Has this happened to you?

This may sound stupid, but are you adjusting the sights in the proper direction? When I adjust the sights on my Steyr it always takes me a moment to remember that "H" is what I want to do when the shot is ALREADY high, unlike most other guns where the "H" would be the DIRECTION ...

I'm a novice AP shooter with an LP10E. I've got the rear site almost down all the way but i still have a sub-6 aim. It shoots really high so i have to aim well below the bull to get a 10.

Is there something wrong with the pistol?

i personnally carry a sig p230 here in Nevada and i love it. It's also extremely accurate.

I think i got it figured out. I've raised my pellet trap up higher so i am not shooting down like i was. I'm no longer getting those weird shaped holes.

the targets are from National Target Co...i have no chronograph...my lp10e is brand new right out of the box...i practice by myself as there is no one in my town that does AP...

why am i getting low velocity pellets?

using LP10E with wadcutter pellets ...high quality ones from ChampChoice...


i will try putting some silicone grease on top of the o-rings ...

Attached is a pic of a B-40 target with strange holes in it. Usually i get 3 circles but these are becoming more common. What's going on?

I just received a Steyr LP10E sn#60664. I am a novice shooter and i thought since i'm serious about this i would just get the best and practice with this. I love the trigger and boy can this thing shoot! But I have a few questions. (1) is there anything i need to do specifically to care for my lp10e...

the smaller the gap the longer you will take to aim before firing...i think that would create more shooter fatigue and anxiety and poor shots in the later rounds...

Do an archive search here and you'll find everything you'll ever want to know about pellets. Since you're asking the question, I suspect you are not a world class shooter. ok i have a Steyr lp10e on it's way to me in the mail right now...what type of pellets should i use in it? Should i get various types and see what happens or should i just stick with one high quality brand? Can i 'train' my barrel over a period of hundreds of shots to accept a certain type of pellet?
