"stock dimensions"
I agree that it does not fit within the stock dimensions of the current stock; however, what defines the "standard" stock dimension? There was a discussion about this recently, I looked for specifications or a template but found none, any info?

Air/nitrogen stuff
This has been hashed to death by the field target folks. Some knowledgeable resources are: Joe Brancato: Email: Joe@HamContact.com Phone: 714-612-5956 Tim McMurray at Mac1: www.mac1airgun.com Van at Airhog: http://www.airhog.com/ These folks all supply connecting components. You might ask this quest...

The speed of the pellet from all PCP rifles depends on 2 factors: 1) The pressure of the air at the valve 2) The duration of the valve opening which is a function of the pressure of the air and the energy of the striker. The pressure of the air on target guns and many high end PCP field guns is regu...

Here are the stats from your measurements: 171.3 average 1.053 std dev 4.100 spread 0.61% std dev as % of average 2.39% spread as % of average Spread is maybe a tiny bit more than I'd expect with properly fitting pellets but it's not really significant. This amount of variation will be swamped by ai...

have a look here
http://www.pilkguns.com/tenp/ Click on Anschutz then Anschutz match trigger. See where is says "The first stage screw must not be changed for the air rifle."? This diagram isn't correct, a better reference is from Anschutz: http://jga.anschuetz-sport.com/index.php5?menu=134&sprache=1 G...

lot to lot vs. in-lot variation
I agree that they do vary lot to lot by quite a significant amount. Not sure what pellets you are using but the H&N Finale Match haven't varied by anything approaching that magnitude within a lot for me. Lot to lot I have found significant variation.

I believe the only differerence is the reg. and the loading gate. Go for it.

SSP vs PCP
Ah! I fear I am mistaken in my statement regarding servicing the 2002s. The 2002 I mentioned was a SSP, not a PCP. I have a small amount of experience with PCPs, an LG-100 but no experience with the cylinder itself.
Sorry for any confusion.

Don't know if it's a "better" idea....
How about "do it yourself"? The 2002s are very straightforward to service, parts are available from Pilkguns and Neal Step at ISS. If they're not leaking down (chronograph readings the same immediately after cocking as a couple minutes after cocking) then it's probably the breach seals. 20...

I've shot all three you list
Cocking stroke is about the same, early Walthers cocked in the reverse direction and were, in my opinion, more awkward to cock. The design is very similar on all SSPs.

What length forearm is allowed?
If a weight is affixed to the accessory rail on the bottom of the forearm, not extending below the regulated 90mm depth, can it extend forward to the full regulated length of the rifle?

450 parts
I don't have one, I was considering purchasing one but if no parts are available, I'm hesitant. 603 sights
Michael,
I've got a Ghemann aperture on my 600 sights. The 603 probably has the newer sight but still the same aperture threads. Don't know about the front.
Congratulations on the 603.

Scaled target generator - error fix
All,
Those 10 rings on the scored targets sure looked small; they were! I've posted a corrected version at:

Update to scaled 10m air rifle target generator
All, I've added the option to generate targets with correctly scaled scoring rings. Since the pellet size does not decrease with distance, the scoring rings must be converted to inside-out where a touch results in the lower score: http://home.comcast.net/~scot_for_sale/guns/scaled_targets/index.html...
