Yellow versus Rose Shooting Glasses

A coach of a local high school asked me whether yellow or rose shooting glasses were better. I've only tried the yellow - they work for me, but haven't tried the rose. Has anyone here used both? What do you prefer? What are the pros/cons of the colors? The shooting they do is all indoor air rifle at...
I suffered from a similar problem. A big help was to use the same handstop position in kneeling as I do in prone and move the sling 2-3 positions tighter. Give it a try!
Everyone is different, for kneeling by handstop is about 2 inches farther out and my sling is a g...

He really does have a great attitude about the whole thing. If I was him I'd think about framing the medal and the shell from his last shot (if he still has it). It makes one heck of a story!

Michael Anti also could have had gold, exept for the fact that he shot an additional shot in one of his kneeling targets, which gave him a deduction of 2 points. If the deduction didn't happen, and Emmons didn't crossfire, the US would have taken gold and silver.

They are by no means the size of the football, cross country running and skiing, or track teams. All the teams in Anchorage are about 24 people after cuts, the most that my school has ever cut is about 10. There is some interest, but there are more people who've never heard of high school rifle teams.

Blinders

Is the new blinder size only for world cups, or is it for all sports that can use them?

Reading those problems makes me a little more happy to live in Alaska. However we(my highschool) do have our own share of the problems. For the last 3 years we have had no permanent coach. 3 years ago it was 7 volunteers. We took Regions, the state championship, and first place in the JOs 2 years ag...

I'll have to talk with my club president about it, I don't think it would do much good for only one person on my team to read it...

Three years ago in my freshman year of high school I came home and said I wanted to join the rifle team. The first day we met, we went over safety. That was fine with me. The next day the new shooters were paired off with the "veterans" and spent 30 minutes learning how to get into the pro...

That's only the first places, any idea where the rest of the standings are? I can't find them.

The jacket, and pants help with support and also prevent injury as someone pointed out above. Also, to give a fixed point number on how much is lost by shooting without them is impossible. It is different for each person because each person knows his "inner position" differently. Several m...
