Cleaning? Wazzat?

They'll have to add screws for the US market so we can stick our dot sights on top.

I'm not great and never will be but I do okay. I'm going to add my two cents in here and agree with some of the other posters. Use a consistent hold on the target, don't go playing games with Kentucky windage to try to put the shots where you want them to go. Don't chase the shot with your sights, i...

That's today. What was it like 10 or 12 years ago when the gun was fairly new?

IZH-35M, what happened?

The frequent mention of the IZH-35M makes me wonder what happened to it. Low interest? Production problems?

I bought mine new and it was less than $400, quite a deal for a bullseye pistol.

Is it that too few Americans are looking for a bullseye .22? Or was there not enough advertising for it?

My 92 says "9mm Parabellum" which is the old name for the 9x19mm cartridge.

I have a Shooting Chrony. Years ago, I did some tests with it to compare its results to the Oehler 35. I don't have the data any more but they consistently agreed within a few feet per second.

I'm not sure how we make shooting as inviting a sports choice as soccer. Parents seem to like the team sports as they can go and cheer and yell and say to the guy next to them "Hey that was my kid!" That and at the young ages, team sports are good for the inept. A kid without skill can pl...

Very strange. You can't import 7.62x25 but any other caliber is okay.

Hmmmm. . . that's good to know. I usually clean my .22s when they start to malfunction. I have to do periodic cleaning just so I don't have a disaster.

As I understand it, they are that way by design to give you the opportunity to fit the grip to your hand.

Many reasons. It probably costs less to make them in Russian than in Germany. The folks who buy an IZH35M are budget minded and aren't willing to pay through the nose for a magazine. $110 for a magazine is absurd. "Nobody has replied yet on my new topic: WTB brand new or used IZH35M magazine.&q...
