3am iPhone response
Bubbles, logical, thoughtfull , compassionate, you made me smile. It is good to see that we are trying to do what is best for the sport vs always the letter of the law. No doubt there are times when old testament response is required but there are those occasions when it is either best for the sport...

Classic Articles _Process to include
Sorry for being slow to respond. I am thinking about how to implement this idea as well as overcoming Valentine duties. One possible idea is 1) Determine what topics to include(e.g, Shot Process, Training methods) 2) have a process to submit threads for inclusion 3) some type of peer review. For exa...

Classic Articles _
I know a lot of times us Newbies ask the same old tired questions and that many times the answers is somewhere in the list of articles. I just read an interesting debate back from 2005. The primary experts being Steve and ED. In the article there was reference to another article but no address. I wo...

Addicted to air pistol
I started out on air pistol just to use it as a training device for the ‘real target shooting’ and have become hooked. Sure it has helped me with ‘real shooting’(sarcasm) but in reality gives me an incredible amount of individual satisfaction. I am tracking my scores, training, able to call my shots...

Very Helpful
I was not able to call my shots until I saw Shot Analysis(another version of the one posted). When a shot went off course - I was clueless to the cause. Now I can clearly see when i move the sight alignment when I squeezed the trigger or when I heeled the shot. Dry firing me showed my why a lot of m...

Update on moving the trigger back
After taking all the great advice, as well as using a lubricant to try to free the screw - I gave up and took it to a gunsmith. He came back with he could not budge it either.
So - I guess I will have to go back to AZ Air and see what they can accomplish. bummer

Praying not to have to drill
Given my mechanical skills, I hope it will not come down to drilling. If so it will be off to the gunsmith. Are replacement screws readily available - if so where did you find them and what size is it.

Adjusting trigger on izh 46m
I am trying to bring the trigger further back towards the grip. The screw that allows for that adjustment has a very very very shallow slot. It does not allow a lot of purchase. I just used some aerokroil on the tip of the screw to see if it will loosen it so I can undo it. I will wait over night to...

Dropping Head
Brillant - I think the dropping head is the at least one of the culprits and until this point never considered it. I tried reproducing it at home and sure enough the trig works. Thanks. On the day I was just having low shots at 6 with great horizontal alingment I kept get those low shots. Everything...

Working on Grip - one step forward - one step back
I have been working on my grip 22 bullesye. In particular grip strenght - trying to increase it so as to reduce the size of groups. I found that I was having some low shots about 3 out of 10 being low. While dry firing I was trying to figure out what was causing the low shots. It seems that it maybe...
