MC-55 parts failure
The MC-55 manual is citing an estimated "mean time between failure" for the parts, which is not terribly bad although not in a league with the Steyr and similar guns. The main problem is the "variance" of that mean time. While the manual gives an estimated average, in actual use ...

My namesake, Nikita
References to my namesake Nikita are a little open to confusion. The movie original was Anne Parrilaud, followed by Bridget Fonda in a US remake under a different title. The tv series, Nikita, had Peta Wilson in that role for the run of the series. Her distant past was of life with the Australian sp...

Barrel and Peta
The short barrel version actually was 5.7".
The ones offered soon and next year are 10" barrels.
The film TV character never used free pistols in thr Nikita series, nor as far as I'm aware, in her prior life with the Australian special forces.

120 available
I was planning to offer a 120-2 on the for sale board, but certainly can consider offers from readers of this forum. Excellent mechanical condition, it does have the external trigger adjustment as well as the internal. The -2 model used the adjustable grip. Like most, this has the rear dovetail for ...

9mm preference
To summarize an awful lot of testing over a number of decades, criteria: groupings, 30 rounds at mininumm rate 1/second first shot inaccuracy trigger consistency, especially after the number of rounds increases gun function/feeding gun failure Results: the Pardini GT9 with 6" barrel in 5" ...

Optimal TOZ 35 SNs
Has anyone found a specific SN group in the TOZ 35 or 35N that tend to be more accurate on average, or better made than others? Not an individual gun, but a group as a whole?

Older GSP magazines
The observation about the magazines is correct, more or less. The very earliest GSP used a magazine without a ridge, but also the follower rises ABOVE the level of the front tip of the magazine, and higher at the rear. This high rise is needed to activate the hold open on the first series frames. Th...

Hammerli 212 for Bullseye
Several people have asked about the Hammerli 212 and optical sights for bullseye. Forward and rear mounts for various optical sights are available from BME Mounts that parallel their designs for the S&W guns or High Standard. Pricing is a little higher than the in-stock items, but not much. Prod...

Shot shells vs. bullets
My apology. I should have been more specific .... edge-on card splitting at 90 feet, followed by hitting the falling pieces with separate shots demonstration of hers was the specific action that exceeded predicted ability for the ammunition and guns of the time. The video in the link above also is i...

FP ammunition, laws of physics, & principles of chaos
The discussions on FP accuracy and ammunition are fascinating for me, in part because these guns for me always were just an alternative to rifles at 25-200 yards for precision shooting. From my experience (or is it my misunderstanding and inexperience?) of using this type of gun since the 1950's but...

Pointers and problems
As to what the problem actually was: perhaps that remains an open question. At this point, more data that pinpoints how the problem manifested itself seems useful. However, as to the slide and plating or not, if Feinwerkbau were an American company, continuing to offer a plated slide would say nothi...

Help please: which AW93 will be defective
Some of the other TT people had mentioned this thread line. Since I was going to sell some older "retired" but seemingly excellent AW93, help in defining which ones should be repaired first would help. If anyone is willing to provide SNs (or SN minus the last digit if preferred) of the gun...

Agner M80 question: comparitive accuracy
Does anyone have any data, or has anyone done a comparison of the Agner M80 to any other target gun? Either bench rest, or actual use hand held.
Any information appreciated, qualitative or quantitative.

207 Magazines
On most of the 207 guns, the standard 208 magazine will fit, but will not work because they are missing the slot into which the magazine retainer pin must fit. Larry's Guns magazines have this precut, and are a good fit. It can be cut into the 208/215 magazines as well. Those sold in Europe, by and ...

Long Barrel International
Probably a model 207 if it has a target grip. These also had a lever safety on the frame, and a Colt-style push button magazine release. Some, but not all, are marked American Model.
