Earnest Shooting Products makes an attachment that hangs onto an offhand stand where you can rest your rifle after strings. there is no website, but call him at 570-797-4872 for a catalog with pics. good luck.

I've used both pistol match and standard plus in my Hammerli and experienced no difference in performance or scores. As an aside, I was told to try the pistol match for 100 meter silhouette targets for the reason stated (slightly hotter) but again, find no accuracy difference between it and standard...

Hammerli 208 mount
for whatever it's worth, I have a Knapp mount on my Hammerli and it is cut off just in front of the ejection port to avoid FTE's. With a short weaver rail, I only use one ring to hold my red dot -- a 1" Millet, which is small and light -- and have had no problems with using it that way.

air silhouette
not sure who makes them, but the local club uses air rifle silhouettes mounted on a frame with hinges. the silhouettes are spring loaded, so when hit, they fall over and don't go flying. a string is attached to the hinge and used to reset the silhouettes into an upright position. Pretty slick -- no ...

Reloading .38 wadcutter in .357 cases for Bullseye
I plan on using my Python for revolver bullseye competition this summer and want to re-load .38 wadcutters in .357 cases. Is there any adjustment I need to make in powder charge from a .38 case, or do I use a normal target load for .38 WC using Bullseye powder? Is there a preference between 148 and ...

light exercise also has the effect of releasing endorphins which will elevate mood and provide a feeling of well-being, not a bad thing to have when shooting.

waxy ammo
I had the same waxy ammo experience using a Benelli and Aguila SV ammo -- occasional FTF. I wiped the bullets off with a terry cloth rag during my pre-match prep time and had no further problems.

LG 300 Dominator, now LH
I'm a lefty and purchased a 300 Dominator with aluminum stock for field target. I rolled the cheekpiece over all the way which worked okay, and turned the grip so it was as comfortable as possible. It was functional and only mildy akward. But as lefties, we're used to living in a backwards world, ri...

Larry's Guns
I sent my Hammerli 208 to Larry in August and was told 6-8 weeks for service. Over that period I left Larry alone. I got a call from Deanna just before 8 weeks that it was done and being shipped the next day. I received it two days later. From my perspective, the work was done when it was said it wo...

LH Walther 300 grips
I bought aa aluminum framed 300 Dominator and had a wood working proficient friend reverse engineer a three piece LH set out of walnut -- cheekpiece, pistol grip, and forend (not truly LH but wanted all 3 pieces to match) -- as I could not find anyone (including Walther) that made a LH grip or cheek...

thanks to all who have provided advice on this subject. I, too, have experienced wrist pain, and am still (partially) suffering sprained wrist symptoms as described. I played around with stock length, sling position, and tension, and feel I have begun to (hopefully) resolve the problem. I shoot a 19...

Walther LGM-1
my issue is not scope body clearance (I already turned the scope 90 degrees and switched the turret knobs to avoid this interference), but clearance from the rings themselves as the lever on an LGM1 is exceedingly long. And with dovetail only behind the loading port I cannot mount a second ring with...
