Interesting point.
My shooting glasses cover my dominant left eye but I don’t protect my right eye. I don’t need or like a blinder … I have never seen another solution. Is there something?

Shooting Shoe cost!
Brian: Shooting shoes? They are pretty cheap compared to my LP10E. I made them top priority after shooting in my New Balance Running shoes one day. I could feel myself rocking back and forth. My Sauer easy shoes solved that problem. Why think about it? BTW: They should last for a decade or more sinc...

I raise no more than an inch
I raise no more than an inch. I find this moment to be very critical. I don't want to waste time at this point. I prefer to 'linger' at 6 o'clock and get my alignment right. I also make intense focus on the upside down U formed between the white line between the front and rear sights AND above the s...

OK but what do you think?
Now that we have looked at page 22 and the Kruger Targets explanation, what does everybody think of the value of these targets as training tools?
Does anybody use them? Dry Fire or Live?

Grips
Thanks for the heads up guys! Rinks had a nice selection. As a matter of fact I am left handed and have small hands. The LP10E has the cocking mechanism on the left side so it is hard to make the make the factory grips thinner on the left side of the pistol. I still need to twist my hand to get a go...

Sitting? No Weights
I guess training sitting down is nice. When I do it I get great scores. When I stand it is a whole different game. But I guess if you have not mastered the basics, then sitting does minimize a variable but standing is a big variable.
No weights on my LP10E.

Love my LP10E / Grips
I certainly like my LP10E but you might note that the AFAIK the grips only come from Steyr because of the battery chamber. So if you like other makers’ grips, then the LP10 might be better.
I would love to know what the problem is with the recoil absorber. I have no complaints.

Intense Alignment!
I like the way Pete S phrases things … I look at the pistol and the sights to make sure my wrist is locked and coming up on straight on the target but to avoid eye stain I don’t concentrate on the front sight yet. Only when the sight goes above the bull and I am coming down to 6 o’clock do I do “int...

LP10E vs LP50E
I understand the ISSF rules only allow a single shot pistol in competitions. So if this important for you, than take this into account. But the LP50 sure sounds like a fun air pistol if you want the great accuracy it is capable of as well.

Locked wrist off the bench vs front sight focus?
Rover & Fred: I think I am getting some fresh ideas on what is really going on… I’m going to read what the Russian coach has to say now. BTW: I don’t come down on the target since I also do combat shooting. I never like to cover my target. I’m shooting a new LP-10 E… no recoil problems at all. I...

Wrist Lock vs Front Sight Focus
Thanks Rover! It’s amazing that when I was in my 20’s everything worked. Now I need to be more careful. Anyway, why is a fine adjustment in a wrist lock any different than say shoulder / arm movements? All I am doing is allowing myself to see the more of the front sight blade to lock my focus, witho...

Locked wrist off the bench vs front sight focus?
Before bring my pistol off the bench, I straighten and lock my arm… I come up under the target. I have found that it is easier for me to focus on the front sight if I bring the front sight up first, lock my focus on it, and then the bring the rear sight into shooting position. My mentor at the local...
