6mm ears and 5mm gap. Mags sit against the ejector and the ejector should be flush to the frame. The ejector area is where the mags can wear thin until the cartridge rim makes a groove in the magazine. If the mags are wearing away at the ejector point, you can sand the bottom of the mag where the ha...

Paulo, I hope this helps you. It's as simple as this. No explanation is really necessary. Just bend a guitar string into this shape and if it's too weak, you will know it by the slide locking back early. If it's too strong, the slide might bounce out of the notch. It's very easy to get it right, and...

It sounds like the slide stop spring is weak, or missing. Take the slide stop spring out and bend it a bit to open it up a little. If it's missing, you can make a new one with a guitar string. High E, .015 gauge. It will work 100% with a little finesse and fitting. (This is for the new version with ...

Re: Trigger set up for FWB AW93
Can the 1st stage of a FWB AW93 be set up so it's shorter than about 2.5 mm? It seems to be the minium length for the 1st stage on my unit--any shorter the trigger doesn't release the hammer. I don't know why it wouldn't release the hammer. The reason my gun won't shorten the first stage more than ...

If there isn't enough energy to fully cycle, the extracted brass might be dragging on the top of the next bullet. To find out, shoot one round and drop the mag to see if the extracted brass is gouging the next bullet. If it looks like this image, it might be dragging too much: Since these mags are v...

CCI SV has been very waxy lately. Some batches are fine, but some are so waxy that the cartridges get stuck in the packaging. 1. Clean the back of the gun behind the hammer. The area where the back of the slide rides. 2. Make sure the ejector is flat against the outside of the frame. It may have mov...
