I did not have a pleasant experience with Brenzovich when I tried ordering boots from him about 5 years ago. I definitely will not be shopping there. I remember champions choice and champion shooter supply but always got them mixed up. ISS is a new one to me and will have to check out what they have...

Shooting Equipment Suppliers

So it's been a couple years since I last shot, and even longer since I've needed to purchase equipment and since Neal Johnson's is no longer business (old news to most of you I'm sure) I'm not sure of what equipment suppliers are still out there. I was hoping that some people in this community could...

Phoenix are junior clubs?

I just moved to Phoenix, AZ and was hoping to find a junior club/team to help coach. I have my Level 2 certification as well as a Master's in coaching. If anyone has contact information or a web site link it would be greatly appreciated.

Message me if you need my contact information.

Can someone share the difference between a team organized as a club sport and one organized as an NCAA sport? Assuming the University continues to support the range facility, is there any real difference? As an NCAA sport the team must adhere to ncaa rules and regulations, can offer scholarships, b...

an update: This weekend, our Board of Trustees met and voted to support the decision made by the administration of end our program. Much of the argument as it was relayed to me was based around making cuts that will not affect scholarships and our faculty staffing levels. This translates to: We unde...

Antique Rifle Values

I have an acquaintance that has a winchester .22 that was given to him by his grandfather. It's 100+ years old and he was asking me if I knew where he could find out how much it might be worth. I only really know competitive shooting, so I was wondering if anyone had suggestions where to look (books...

Rose-Hulman rifle in danger

I got this today on Facebook from Rose-Hulman's coach Jason LaBella: Got word today that as of the end of the school year, the rifle team at Rose-Hulman is losing its budget and its backing as an NCAA sport. also send e-mails out to the college coaches who you want posters of. more likely than not, they'll send you a poster (if they have one) and a few media guides. It's a win-win for recruiting and getting your program's name out there for them.

i have found that stretching out the areas where the pulse occurs right before getting in position helps dampen, in not get rid of the movement. in kneeling (even though you said it comes from your shoulder) definitely stretch the quad, hamstring, and calf of the leg you sit on.

regular cotton doesn't breathe. that's why you see many shooters using stuff like under armor because it does a better job wicking away the moisture. the sweaters are usually knit in such away that they do breathe. like the kurt thune sweaters have a mesh like back with a bunch of holes.

well i have my anschutz set up with minimum over travel, meaning it doesn't come to a complete stop, but there is next to no movement after that. theoretically, if you have perfect trigger control, concentration, breath control, balance, etc. you should be able to pick up any gun and shoot 100's all...
