what the best material is to form or customize a wooden grip? Thanks.

the same as the FT version? I own a p70 in the wood stock and a p70ft in the aluminum stock. I have been trying to trade the FT version for a 10 meter pistol with no luck and thought I might try swtching the stocks. Has anybody done this? Thanks in advance.

Can someone tell me the size of the front aperature inserts for the p70 rifle? I have been told 18mm or 22 mm but don't know what the measurement is of, the sight itself or the insert? I measure the insert I have at the outer most diameter and it is just around 19mm(which would point to 22mm sight) ...
