LG 300 Junior...for a Senior
Yana/Robin, Your information is most helpful. Being on the other side of the Atlantic, I'm not sure what a "tunnel-holer" is. I suspect it's smaller than what the English & French used to bore the Chunnel. You also mentioned "newer" LG 300's. I've heard that the older ones ha...

LG 300 Junior...for a Senior
Air Rifle folks.
I've had a couple shoulder injuries and 66 year old eyes. The light weight of a Walther LG-300 Junior appeals to me. I would use it with a scope as home practice for indoor smallbore 4-P.
What are the pros & cons of this gun? How's it reliability?
thanks

gear bags
Most guys I know use multi-pocket tool bags. The better ones are designed to last in knockabout conditions in pickup beds & job sites. They're generally less expensive.

Illuminated scopes
Thanks for the good advice. I've read good reviews about the Trijicon, but hearing it from an actual user in my age group is even better. We senior shooters have a shared sense of irony: Younger guys have great eyes, but can't afford good equipment. Older ones have a similar -- but exact opposite --...

illuminated scopes
As my eyes age, I'm finding it harder to see the black Leupold target dot on the target. I mainly shoot indoor 4-P. Is anyone out there (especially my geezer peers) using one of the illuminated dots? Leupold makes one, but I haven't found one to try. Expensive on the higher end scopes, but I'd buy o...

anschutz double set trigger
I have a double set trigger for an Anschutz 22 hornet. Will this trigger work in an Anschutz 54 Match or 64 MS?
Any info would be most helpful & appreciated.

Or, you could simply change the paradigm. Used equipment, less-than-Tenex ammo and taking full advantage of the training provided by coaches and fellow shooters will help you develop skills that will last a lifetime. Do what you can with what's available, then upgrade after college. Don't let the mo...
