Nice video. Obviously, the Mk IV is much easier to assemble/disassemble. Well done on Ruger.

Re: Ruger Mark IV Target for Bullseye Pistol?
I believe that the assembly/disassembly of these pistols is not a fun event. I haven't done this for about 30 years so I can't recall, thankfully, the actual attempt. I do, however, see a large, rosy scar that remains in my soul.

Re: Shipping PCP Air Pistols
My Walther PCP pistol was shipped USPS Priority Mail from Virginia for $9.85 and arrived in three days. How is that possible? A large flat rate box is $18 or more, I don't remember. Unless you shipped it 20 years ago, USPS prices have gotten very expensive. Also, insurance is another add-on expense...

Re: Walther SSP-E or Pardini SP
I have the Walther SSP, mechanical trigger, and it is a fantastic pistol. No misfires or stovepipes, very dependable. They've been around for a few years. If you are going to use a dot, this isn't the easiest pistol for that. If you're shooting irons, then it's great. I use my Matchguns for red dot ...

50m pistol (Free Pistol) is still shot at international levels, just not an Olympic event.

I made an offer and she didn't accept it. I feel badly for Tralfaz. I hope he used PayPal so it is covered. Often, people join to sell stuff, but some sites won't let you post in the Buy/Sell until you've had at least 10 posts, some more. I think that's a good rule. Here's what she wrote to me: Hi J...

Re: Walther LG400 junior rifle
That's the information that you should've stated in the first place. I made an offer last week and it was turned down but counter offered so I am/was surprised to hear that you're having issues. Good luck with the Sheriff's department.
Thanks for the clarification,

Re: What New Free Pistol
I honestly don't know. I'm not sure what happened, but we used to have the Walther rep on TT, but I haven't heard from him in a long time. If I didn't have the MG, then for sure the Morini. I had the Steyr and it was fantastic, but a bit heavy for me. The Hammerli FP60 is also a good choice.

The Morini is very nice, but I went with the Matchgun MG-5. You can get mechanical or electronic trigger.

It's an astigmatism issue, not focal length issue. Your eyes are out of round and it is difficult to fix, some are nearly impossible without laser surgery.

Re: Walther SSP Damper system
You can swap the positions of the two screws and see what you like. It hasn't made much of a difference for me, but I'm not a national class shooter either. Also, I shoot CCI and had no issues whatsoever with either screw position.

Re: Shoulder Replacement
The orthopedic surgeon I consulted with said that shoulder replacement surgery only gives about 75% range of motion after all is said and done. It is not nearly as common as other (e.g. hip) joint replacements. This is why I am very cautiously considering it.

Re: Don’t like loading magazines..look at this aftermarket speedloader for Matchguns MG2.
If you haven't loaded the MG2 mag, you might not understand. Is it difficult, time consuming or particularly tricky, no. But, the loader removes the chance of sending 5 rounds down range out of the tube by accident and you can easily and quickly load the tubes. It requires no concentration and is qu...
