Re: Recoil and butt plate height
For me the more important factor above butt plate height is the repeatability of the overall position. These so called perfect heights and lengths of where rifle parts should sit on and into our bodies are starting points only. What would be the point of having what looks to an outside observer the ...

It's an conspiracy, from the Aliens. they knew we would seek new life and worlds far from home. but they know it will take longer than ten years for us to get there. and our air tanks will be out of date when we arrive. but because we are all law abiding citizens we will be unable to shoot the evil ...

Hi Dave IRL Have you tried loctite on the grub screw? or even super glue. Much cheaper than a new sling. I have the same sling as you and like it very much but have also lost some screws as well, but all my replacements are glued in. Both loctite and super glue can be undone as well. hope this helps...

I use a golf glove. works great. only get about 2 seasons out of them befor they fray around the cut to much, I cut off the end of the trigger finger and the thumb so its easy to pick up the next round. also they are very good for when its very cold not just for grip. I am thinking 10 what are you t...

Hi Ahlenius, I also shoot FWB 2700 and have a Eric U 12' Tuner Tube. it fits perfectly, is very easy to fit on and off. and does not get in the way of the Factory FWB tube pin. see attached photos. I can shoot straight back into the 10 ring after taking off the tube for cleaning so the fitting syste...

Pistol style Grips for a Rifle
Pistol style Grips for a Rifle. Hi All, Has anyone on here fitted a pistol grip from an actual pistol (see picture) to a free rifle? In my case a FWB 2700. I have noticed recently that I am moving my hand around on the grip trying to find a more repeatable and comfortable grip and trigger release. I...

Hi Nester I have the MEC/Centra Sling and love it. But the connection to the hand stop is not push button release, it fits all push button type handstops but you have to unscrew the knob a bit and then insert into the hand stop then tighten the knob up. It takes a little getting used to. In fact whe...

Good Question As I understand it the light at the firing point is suppose to be the same as at the target and I am sure there is a minimum Lux value but a don’t remember where I have seen it. On the same topic the new 50 metre range I am training at ( new for me ) is very well lit for night shooting...
