Fine example of discrete virtuosity.

Pardini PC45S
Recently I bought a Pardini PC45S from a dealer in Germany. It looks very slightly used and in excellent condition. Just how different is the PC45S from the current GT45. I emailed both Pardini USA and Italy but so far no reply from either...hmmmm.. I get the impression that the GT is a revised PC m...

Pardini 45
...Sorry...I meant the Pardini 45 does NOT show the same accuracy improvment when reducing the amount of trigger after travel.

Trigger
Isabel, Yes maybe too much time might be spent in pulling slow, to the detriment of whats really needed...finger straight back. Reminds me if trigger aftertravel adjustment has all that much an overall effect. I never got definitive results; Have a Benelli 9mm, B76 that improved accuracy by reducing...

32 ACP
I cant talk about the 32 acp pardini, but some time ago we did some tests with a mildly modified Walther PP in this caliber. We were getting groups around one inch at 25 yards at one point. I would say most of the improvements were because of the selected ammo. Best results were had with H&N pla...

So single stage it is ! Had her do dry firing drills, grip, stance, lock wrist/elbow, squeeze follow through etc for two weeks. On her second day at the range at 10 M ( no other opt. available at the time) she was shooting groups a somewhat larger than the black ( 25 m target reduced for 10 m). Howe...

Starting out
I am assisting a woman shooter starting out with a GSP. The pistol is used but in excellent condition and came equipped with a two stage trigger that had been adjusted for single. I am unsure if a two stage trigger is suitable for both Slow and Duelling in women's pistol especially a total beginner....

Dont think so Leon, I took the mag apart, cleaned and lightly lubricated it before use.
I am looking at the sharp top of that feed ramp with one beady eye and a dremel for a cutlass in my right hand !

I will have a go at wiping the ammo next range time. While I understand the tight chamber on some target gun issue I find it a bit disappointing really. That said the sort of jams I am getting, with the bullet hitting the ramp/barrel join and getting stuck there with the rim still held by magazine l...

Hammerli orange
Took the Hammerli 215S to the range again today and ot seems I might have been wrong about putting the blame on too waxy ammo. I was getting failure to feed and this morning I noticed that all the failures were the lower part of the bullet hitting the ramp just where it joins the barrell and jamming...

Waxy ammo
To avoid possible solvent contamination, I think I will just warm things up a bit and wipe off then excess. I was under the impression that Federal 711B is really rifle ammo. Both this and Fiocchi SM300 cost about the same, around 8 Euro per box. I can get CCI Standard and Fiocchi Maxac for half thi...

Was thinking maybe a rag with a bit of WD40 would do the trick (but somebody told me its not good for barrels or burns /leaves some complicated chemisty whatever).

Got my recently bought Hammerli 215S and took it to the range for a try. From what I can see its a fine performer, but I was getting ftf's after the first 40 or so shots. Used Fiocchi 300SM ammo, which looks be somewhat too waxy; In fact after the first box, there was this wax grime all over the inn...

Thank you all for your assistance.
I might try harder to measure the imprinted slug, but in any case I will just try out the different bullets. Best powder available seems to be N310 and that's what I am going for.
Best !

I have had my FAS 32 for almost 8 months now and to tell the truth I am a little surprised because given the fair amount of negative impressions of some owners, this thing actually works well indeed. Thus far, I have had absolutely no feeding problems at all using Fiocchi 100gr lWC. I want to start ...

Pistol Rimfire ammo
Ok here is the question: If the cheaper plinking ammo is often quoted as being good for 1 inch at 50m meters, then why do pistol savants spend millions on special match pistol ammo ? I mean, 1" in 50m translates roughly in 1/2 in 25 meters, so what is going on here ? Are we after placings withi...

Thank you all for your ideas, almost all of which have been helpful to some degree. I think that if I had to be as honest as my perception and current expertise allows, I can say that though I can hold sight alignment during trigger release reasonably well, its when I put this delightful little pack...

Brian,
you might have the situation in "training part 2".
Its probably due to fine motor control.
Wondering if this is allied to strength at all.
Does your 30 minute daily holding improve one or both ?

No Freepistol, actually I dont.
My mental and optical focus is still on the front sight.
Obviously something is wrong of course; Its not all that easy to hold even perfect sight alignment, and wait for the best target picture
