What type of highpower are you shooting? Service rifle? Both pilkguns and creedmoor have AR-15 air rifles. I don't know how the 2 compare quality-wise. I think the creedmoor is mainly a stock for an anschutz 8002 and the pilkguns adapts to your AR, so which one is cheaper depends on which one you al...

How much did it cost to add all that? If it involves too much DIY, I'm not good at that and worried I'd mess up. An intermediate rifle can take you to Master class, but why handicap yourself. What is that score-wise? I can't find the exact number, and I think I might already be there on a good day.

Tell us what happened, SV. Were you holding too long?
No, I was resting my arm and my knee and moved it just as I fired.

Soupy44, thanks for the drill idea.

Good ways to eliminate fliers?

So today I was shooting, and I my score was ruined by a couple of fliers. I was trying to get an average of at least 8, yet one shot was a 5 and one was a 3. I ended with an average of around 7. I know what happened and have taken steps to stop it from happening again, however, I've had this problem...

I know they won't be as accurate as the 54s, but I'd like to know what the difference, especially since I'm already having trouble affording the 64.

How accurate are the anschutz 146, 1903?

Well, I'm still trying to decide if I should get a 1903, or save for a 1907 or the like. So, how accurate are these 2 rifles? Can they shoot 1 MOA or less, so I can reliably hit the 100 yard smallbore target 10 ring, with match ammo? Anyone actually measured this?

Regular sight for 887?

Right now I'm using a 887, and I was wondering if anyone makes a regular front sight for it? I don't shoot well with an aperture sight, I've even set it so I can use the edge sort of like a regular front sight.

Sights are wandering

For some reason, especially when I shoot prone, it's as if the sight picture changes. I get it sighted in on one sighter target, move up just a little bit to the next one, and it completely changes. What's happening?

How old are the kids? You could try the avanti 499. I don't have any experiance with them, so I don't know how kid-proof they will be. It is a muzzleloading BB gun, so safety might be a concern with this ,. They also weigh only 3 pounds so ability to shoot them with accuracy is a concern. From what ...

Standing NPA

I'm having trouble with finding my NPA when standing. It wobbles around a lot so I can't really ever be sure. Any ideas?

If you want to shoot you need to be safe, so always obey the 4 gun safety rules. 1: Always point the gun in a safe direction, even if it's unloaded. This means make sure it's pointed so if the gun were to suddenly go off, it wouldn't hurt anyone or cause significant property damage. (Remeber bullets...

Unfortunantly, I think the answer to your question is a lot of questions How much money are you willing to spend? (You also need to buy pellets, a lot of pellets, targets, pellet traps, and maybe a range) Will these be the property of a club or of the people involved? How many people will be using t...

Well, I'm considering building an anschutz. Unfortunantly, right now even the stock is more money than I have. Are there any alternatives? Would it be more economical to build a feinwerkbau?. The 1907 has the much better stock What about it's better? Also, how big is each one? I'm kind of tall and d...

That's the super colibri, right? Will that knock down the shootin' gallery targets? I've heard that unless you're using a handgun you need to check the barrel every shot just to make sure it didn't get stuck, it has that little energy.

For the 1903s, by basic, I assume you mean the junior version that has the capability to be a repeater. I don't think so. It was the "1903 standard". It's got an adjustable cheekpiece, I don't think it has an adjustable recoil plate though. Can you buy one of those? What smallbore competi...

Building a .22 caliber range in your basement is a bad idea. First you have ricochiets. Even if you have a backstop, it could hit a wall if it rcochets from the "shootin gallery", and most basements walls are concrete, and that makes bullets ricochet like crazy. You also have to be worried...

Ask the government maybe? I understand that even one brass casing can land you a lot of jail time. I wouldn't want to have to spend years in a jail there.
