Yes it is, I knew that when I got it but I didn't expect that it would be so different that the old touching elbows rule doesn't apply, after all the 3 p guys still have to shoot amazing scores in prone as well. Albeit, probably with a different custom jacket for each position for the really good gu...

I called up one person I know, a very good shooter and he suggested that this is probably not a jacket made for prone, rather a 3P jacket. This I think is true. He thought in a jacket made for prone you probably could not get your elbows together as was my understanding but for a 3P jacket he wouldn...

does my custom jacket fit, an Anschutz skorpion fusion

Hi all, I have had a really rough time with my jacket. I once had an anschutz jacket that fit really well and it was stolen. I replaced it with an off the shelf one because it was part way through the season and I couldn't wait for a better one. Eight months ago I ordered the skorpion fusion. Five m...

Here is a link to the arrangement I was speaking of http://ahg.anschuetz-sport.com/index.php5?menu=46&sprache=1&seite=83&produktID=419&PHPSESSID=3aabfe7f9f6258c58391bdcd6e0fbcaa I made my own adaptor and used the lens holder from my old shooting glasses. If you were to build your won...

I agree with spencer, get rid of the bifocals. For the price of a reasonable scope you can get shooting glasses. Even cheaper and a little more convenient is to get the smaller lens and mount it directly behind the back sight. This is possibly the cheapest option to put optics on the rifle. At that ...

Yep, they are still good rifles. If you find one I would get it, depending on the price of course. It shot good groups and the trigger was nice. Make sure you get a copy of a manual or else its difficult to make changes to the trigger. Is it worth $3k? Hard to say, I am sure you could get one cheape...

The cheek piece is part of the stock so if you upgraded just the stock then pick the one you like best with the right cheek piece.

Hmm, thats a lot of money.. I sold mine to a junior at our club for $800 NZD as that was his budget and I thought I would be charitable On the provision that he didn't just turn around and sell it at a profit. He stopped shooting soon afterwards and his dad uses it now which is ok. Maybe I shouldn't...

I had one and it was a very nice rifle. I remember I took it to the waitakere club on a saturday to give it a go. I had a few sighters then shot a card. 100.6 was the first card out of it. Unfortunately the rifle wasn't as consistent on all future targets :) It is quite a big stock so it was good fo...
