Palm Rest

Guys

Well I know now why I do not see the old palm rests being used much.
I had the opportunity to shoot another 1413 the other day with an Anschutz Palm Rest 4842. What a change, I was able to establish a better hold. I have to get one of these.

Palm Rest

I also have the two that Anschutz came out with for my 1413's, one is similar to the Al Freeland design and the other is all wood except for the adjustable part that attaches to the rifle. Just wondering why you d...

Palm Rest

Does anyone still use the older anschutz or al freeland grip type palm rests.

Examples;
Anschutz model 4724
Al Freeland Mr. Cairo Grip.

And are the heal rests for the pistol grips on the older wooden stocks now prohibed.

GAMO 126 Air Rifle

I have a Gamo 126 that guards my closet. It was a good rifle when it used to work, now all I use it for is teaching position shooting. The problem the availability of spare parts. I spent over a year trying locate parts for the thing. Many places lists the parts that you need to repair the thing, bu...

Adding Wt. to Air Rifle Question

I have a FWB 300S that I use for club matches. Does anyone know who would make some barrel wt.s for this particular model Air rifle. It needs some damping up front for off hand shooting.

Another one of my SB Rig's

Some people have developed them into very fine benchrest shooting platforms. MT Guns even has a program for this very thing. The Mk III, IV, V's would more than likely lend themselves to 3-P shooting with a differant rear stock than the MK I, II. As far as sights are concerned, a good machinest woul...

How many adult shooters do we have

Misny

Your opinion is correct concerning the junior out shooting the older shooters, but I have also seen the older shooters out shoot the junior on some rare ocasions.
The best thing to do with those egos is to leave them in your kit bag.

How many adult shooters do we have

Guys Your responses so far are great, I am glad to see so many older active shooters. How many of you actively shoot 3-position SB Rifle or AR competively, at your local club level? My distractors feel that they do not want to shoot at these events because there are too many kids shooting. Junior ma...
