Correct target height for 50 m free pistol
Last weekend I had some time reading through the ISSF rule book 2013 version downloaded from their website. However, I can't understand the part on target/range installations for 50 m. As far as I know, there are pistol and rifle events for 50 M, one event for pistol, i.e. 50 m FP and at least 3 eve...

Morini Products
One more point I would like to state is I always have been a great supporter for Morini. I believe most readers in this forum and Scott knows. Besides this FP, I shoot a 162EI AP since 1998 and believe it or not, after more than 100,000 shoots, it is still shotiing one hole groupings and the AP work...

Morini FP
Dear Mark, Thank you so much for your post, It really enlightened me as I have never try to think about this problem is related to the FP before. With my experience with other shooting discipline, like SP and CF, jamming and used case ejection problem with particular brand is not uncommon. In our cl...

I have the same phenomenum on my 84E but oterhwise, everything is OK. One thing worth mentioning about my 84E is it is quite prejudice to ammo, I have used several different type of Elly and after the barrel warming up a bit, the used case jammed on the breech and the ejector cannot hook properly. I...

transactions
I am also interested to have a look of the compensator as I think all shooters would like to spend reasonable money to make their Aps more accurate. Transaction is not much a problem and I suggest that the potential buyers send their e-mail to the maker and in return, he sends them his bank account ...

Rules
An addition information, for rapid fire, 20 and 10 seconds rapid fire stage for SP, 3/7 5 shoot stage for CF and Lady sports, the rules state it clearly that the shooting hand must be in an angle between perpendicular to the ground and 45 degrees to the horizontal. As for AP and AR finals, the sprea...

M271 doubt
I am sure the compensator with product code M271 is for Morini free pistol 84E but not for AP162 series. The AP has a barrel diameter of 12mm, if my recollection is correct, but I am not sure the diameter of the FP. If both diameter is the same, insatllation is simple as only one screw on top has to...

Latest on Luna Toa
Attached is an interview of Toa when she returned to Shanghai, China. I posted it because it seems interesting to watch the up and downs of a sportwoman, which in itself is some kind of experience besides shooting skills. 失意英雄陶璐娜:有失败也有收获 惨败与感情无关 2004年9月13日 9:28 与陶璐娜约定采访,是在她随上海奥运军团返沪时的虹桥机场。于是,六天后在上...

Is it really silver?
From the photo it really looks like a silver barrel Morini FP, but if you compare the FP of Nestruev, the silver may just be the refelction on the blue.
However, he seems to be using a different muzzle compensater.

Yifu Wong not in FP
As a matter of fact, a lot of people doubt that if Wong could join the team at all in the first place. In his 2 best categories, FP & AP, Wong is not quite up to his past standard and the other two shooteers, Tan and Xu, both have a rather stable performance this year. I actually feel that the C...

Up and downs
Luna Toa has not been in her best shape starting from this year, her performances had been rather unstable as reflected in her world cup appearances. The team manager has tried to share the preasure by sending the other team members like Chen Y in the Asian Shooting Championships but could not help....

Velocity
Quite agree with Mark that Morinis shoot better in relative lower velocity than others. According to the manual, the factory set velocity is app. 150m/sec, which is 495ft/sec. Later on for some reasons (my own problem) the velocity had varied. I can still shoot in the 9 and 10's but it is not the po...
