Yup, you can.
You get a print-out of all your shot values & also a digital picture of your match, showing your shot grouping.
Not quite that beautiful target hanging there but....

By the way, Alex L., from Down Under, I'll try your method with some pellets too. Like I said, nothing to lose, at this point. Will let everyone know.
Thanks.

Bubba, you aren't causing me any problems! I'm having fun cooking up strange things in my kitchen. If you knew how I baked, you wouldn't be surprised at something not turning out. So maybe that 8yr-old balsamic vinegar wasn't the best idea. (just kidding!) It's fun, interesting, & in the end, I'...

Ok, Bubba, the vinegar isn't working. 3 days & lots of shaking, so I'm going to try the coca cola now & let you know.
Thanks

This is all great stuff. Thanks Jim B. for bringing it up. I coach a bunch of juniors in air pistol. The ventilation in our range is not the best, & even though the pellets aren't huge culprits in giving off lead, there is lead in the range. I do emphasize precaution on this subject, but now I'l...

P.S. to have the electronics to simulate minimum standards could be fun.
My minimum standards are a target taped to a piece of cardboard, hung at 10 meters. I go down & change it every 5 or 10 shots.

First of all, whoever would tell you the monitors were just for the officials' use must have been high. Secondly, it's all about coping strategies. We all have our ranges or shooting venues that have their idiosyncracies, with equipment that can be afforded. I trained on cardboard, hung from the cei...

Congratulations, Jim B. on your upcoming parenthood. Hey, even if she doesn't become a competitive shooter, at least she'll be a knowledgeable, responsible, respectful family-member-of-a-gun-owner!

A friend here in Ontario had high lead levels. He also ate chips, drank pop etc, while shooting with his pals.He cast & loaded his own. So, he stopped casting. No change He stopped loading his own. No change. He stopped eating & drinking on the range. Significant improvement. He washed his h...

It's in the "spirit" of the rule. A bra, for a female is within the "spirit" of the rule, while a back support, wrist support, tendonitis bands, over-the-ankle boots, for either gender, are not in the "spirit" of the rule. Wear it. You just can't shoot for record. Hope ...

Everybody's body & eyes are different. That's why the procedures for aligning yourself with the target is to get your stance first, they hopefully shots in a group, then adjust the sights - not your stance or body alignment with the target. My past coach & I were about the same height - both...

And there I was, about to dump the 1 1/2 tins of pellets I have soaking in vinegar.. I'm trying this, out of curiosity, but will not touch them, as has been suggested - just shake them(then drain, rinse, dry, oil) I think, in the long run, I'll use these for practice, & work really hard, OR give...

Thanks.

Years ago, while a new member of the Canadian Team, I was training with an experienced teammate. Worked my butt off, but couldn't get a good group going. Finally my teammate, who had been watching me, questioningly, came over, wondering what was going wrong. When he saw my pellets - oxidized - he th...

Oxidized Pellets

Seems I've been away from shooting longer than it felt. Am thinking of getting back in, but have discovered all my Lapua & R10 pellets have oxidized somewhat.
Anyone know how,or if they can be re-conditioned, brought back to quality, or must I toss them all?

The older Walther GSP's can be a little nose-heavy, unless it has the "ladies" barrel on it. Of course, that is now illegal, by 1mm, in Canada! The Walther is also more forgiving than a Hammerli 208. With the Hammerli, when you're on, you're on & shooting great, but if you're sloppy, i...

Two thoughts: You MUST have faith in your equipment. If you buy the lower-priced gun, you will always question if it's you or the gun; could I have done that much better if I'd just spent the bucks. Because you are already questioning whether to "go big" or not - GO BIG. If you didn't know...

Question: How did these first 4 messages get back in circulation? They're all from before the World Cup. No big deal, just curious.
Check out Patrick Haynes message & pictures. Looks not too bad.
