My cellar 10 meter range stays a consistent 55 degrees during the winter months. Do you suspect this is an issue w/CO2?

Also, if I choose CA, is a DIN or K/Yoke type valve preferred?

That's refreshing news since I am having issues with start-up costs of CA.

Interesting. What temp range is suitable to use co2 guns? Appears that 85 degrees far. is the upper temp?

Great info-thank you.

Is a 20 oz paintball tank or an industrial welding tank recommended?

I just read that when filling with co2, one is filling liquid co2. I realize the larger weld tanks have dip tubes, but if I use paintball co2 tanks to fill from, should I turn the tank upside down? Also, one of the guns I am looking at does not have a removeable co2 reservoir. Since I can not prechi...

Benjamin Discovery?

This is clearly not a competition gun, but should provide greater accuracy for 10 meter shooting than my spring-air rws 34. Anyone own one? Also, this precharged gun is "dual fuel" co2 or ca. I am curious about the pros and cons of ca and co2. The idea of filling from a 20 oz paint ball ta...

CO2 vs. CA

I am ready to take the plunge to precharged target gun(s). I am curious about the pros and cons. The idea of filling from a 20 oz pb tank seems to be the best logistically. Also, why would one of the 2000 psi dual fuel guns get many more shots for a filled reservoir of co2 than ca? I realize the vel...

Thanks for the comments, I will be exploring all of these. The need/want for a scope is only because my wife feels there is a greater "fun factor" by using an optical device. I do not necessarilly agree with her, but she seems to be a true natral with a rifle (just don't put a pistol in he...

Air Rifle for Pistol Shooter?

I enjoy various shooting sports and compete in a casual .22 pistol league. My forte may be pistol shooting, but my wife and I "compete" fairly seriously at my 10 m indoor range with an RWS 34 W/4X scope. I know this is untraditional and certainly not the equipment that is spoken of here. M...

Doesn't appear that they are still made, or more importantly imported into the US. I won't buy a gun I can't get parts for.

Pistol to Compliment / Replace IZH-35

I really love the Russian Izh-35, but with parts being unavailable it makes me nervous. What to buy...Rugers out of the question, Hammerli Trail side n/g, Pardini too exspensive and the list goes on. Isn't there anything comparible to the IZH-35 for $1000 - $1200?

Where to buy 25 yard targets

Strangely enough I am having a hard time finding the B-16 25 yd slow fire trget. When I did fid them the distrbutor's shiping cost was insulting. Any suggestions here to buy? Also, does it make sense to print targets or, perhaps, use replacement centers. Please recommend where to buy replacement cen...

Beautiful piece of craftsmanship. Looks like the Ducati/Ferrari/Masserati/Bugatti of .22 target pistols.

"Guest", please stay on topic and stop being an embarrasment to this site. The vast majority of people I have meet through shooting sports have been class acts. Welcoming and sharing advice...like most of the people on this site.
