Is one arm under the pin to the right and the other arm up in the sear notch placing tension on the 2nd sear, placing tension in the forward direction? Have you lubed the second sear? You're sear adjustment screw (left side) may be too far inward and sear may not be adequately engaged.

Check thread on "disabling IZH35 grip safety" and you will find pics that Fred Mannis posted (thanks again) that will show the second sear spring. If yours is not intact, then order from EAA and when installing tie a small thread around spring so that when it escapes your micropliers all w...

Just did a search and want to say my gun, when originally purchased in 2002, was slam firing the entire magazine with Federal ammo due to thick rim dimension. I then removed material from the bolt face and switched to CCI std velocity which has cured slam firing/doubling. Should I consider adding th...

I try not to be too fussy with triggers...can't afford to be. When pistol was new I had to remove material from the bolt face to stop doubling. Thanks to this site I have learned of the o-ring mod behind front sight. Is this primarily to prevent doubling or to cushion reciprocating parts?

All good info. Thanks. I have disabled the the grip safety by turning the sear adjustment screw in (CW) and no doubling has occurred (yet). Peter Brunelli's site alluded to this. There still exists a bit of creep and a need for slightly lighter pull, but I will keep playing with it. Any tips would b...

You're fortunate those replacement parts were included with your pistol. Which parts have actually needed replacement and ~how many rounds fired? My IZH35 was purchased in 2002 and has ~2500 rounds and the second sear spring failed. I must confess that recently my shooting has been with air until I ...

Thank you for taking the time to post these pics. Are you essentially using a piece of wood to lock the safety forward? What is the bolt used for in pic 2? These pics also demonstrate the correct position of the second sear spring which broke on mine and I have since replaced it, installing it incor...

Thanks. Any tips on solution to clean bore of air guns. I have some "Otis" , but some of it has solidified. I am getting back into this great sport after a few year hiatus...moved and fixed up my current home.

Bore Preservative

I am torn between keeping the bore of my air pistols and .22 pistols dry for accuracy or a light coating of "break free" / gun oil for corrosion protection. I store and shoot in my cellar which has periods of dampness. Any suggestions are appreciated.

IZH-35 Second Sear Spring

Shortly before I moved in 2007 my Baikal's hammer would not stay cocked. Now that I have more time this great hobby has finally came back into my life and I replaced the sear spring. I have very limited testing, but it appears to be back normal operating condition. This little spring is on the upper...

I would like to think it may be as simple as a pin in the linkage has drited out of position, limiting movement of the articulating arm. You would likely have already noticed this. I believe EAA will straighten this situation out and you will have a great shooting pistol soon. Good luck and please k...

Lead-free .22 ammo?

I would like to shoot my .22 target pistol in my 10 meter air pistol basement range, but concern for lead vapor ingestion has me concerned. Has anyone seen any standard velocity "green" ammo? Thanks.

I have the older IZH-46 and it has been flawless. Replacing seals ....check here: http://www.airguninfo.com/46disassembly.htm

Have you lubed the seals with crosman pellgubn oil?
