Aguila Ammo

Hello my friend!!! We have a theory here at Mexico: Aguila exports their best lots and sold garbage to the domestic market. That's what we think. We still have some serious problems with aguila ammo...k-booms, accuracy fails, ignition fails...and me and my friends only use match ammo (match pistol)....

You must be kidding!!!! That was an steal!!!. The price of that gun only with one caliber is about 1,500-1,700...lucky you!!!!. I saw that you are at Sweden. I don't have the smallest idea about who is the Hämmerli's dealer there, but you can ask directly the people from Hämmerli (www.haemmerli.ch)....

You're not going to belive

Dear Kleefur: Can you belive that in my place, Merida, Yucatan, Mexico, we do not have any professional pistol coach? The nearest one is about 1300 kilometers away. That's what I'm asking. I only have my books a reference, and the friendly aid of two more experienced shooting buddies. With kindest r...

Do you have any idea about where I can purchase at America this Negrini case? It's for the SP20...it will fit the 208S?

I like everything

Tom Bowen wrote: What is it you dont like about the Nills?
I liked everything from the Nill grips. Only I'm curious about the Morini.

I'm unable to check the factory grips, as the ones that came with mi 208S are Medium, and my hand is XL.

Your comments are very appreciated,

Grips...Nill vs. Morini

Friends:

Currently, I'm using a set of Nill grips on my Hämmerli 208S. I was thinking about the possibility to purchase also a set of Morini grips, as I have heard that they are much better than Nill. What do you think about?. Would it worth its while?

Thanks,

Re: which .22lr std pistol is MOST reliable - no more alibis

I don't care about the cost - I just want reliability! Dear Lee: If you don't care about the cost, there are some Hämmerlis 208S available at www.gunbroker.com. Two of them are new, including one of the "last edition" for $3,000 bucks or something. I guarantee that, with that gun, you're ...

We can expect new SP's

Dear Friends: As we discussed previously in this very same forum, beacause of the changes in the rapid fire rules, I think that we can expect the introduction of new Standard Pistols from all the major manufacturers. In the case of Carl Walther, their GSP is a 30 years old design or so. If we have s...

Question about shooting stance

Dear friends: My coach has taught me that the best stance for standard pistol shooting is as follows: Boot feet parallel, body aligned with the target in straight line. Fingers of the feet pointing just to front, feet apart the size of the shoulders. However, I have found that the stance adopted by ...

What else?

Yeah Bob. Everybody said that" ---if you have a 208s---what else do you need? ". But I want a "second choice gun" (I don't want to abuse of the 208S, unless it's very well cared) I'll keep your advice about what's new from everybody after Olympics. Maybe with the change in the ru...

Thanks

Thank you very much for your comments. I have tried the GSP, but I feel it a little uncomfortable.

My current shooter is a Hämmerli 208S, and I'm looking for a similar gun, but I found the AW93 very expensive.

Morini CM22 Vs. Hämmerli SP20

Dear Friends: I'm going to start with the very long and troublesome process with the Mexican department of defence to legally import a Standard Pistol. Finally, I'm considering two options: The Hämmerli SP20 and the Morini CM22. Because I'm unfortunattely unable of test the pistols before buying (Th...
