I have mine set to stop dead as soon as the sear has released i think it save putting any more pressure on the trigger some say that if the setting is for a longer move the trigger can follow through while the shot is still moving up the barrel but im not too convinced

What I did notice was that in both runs the Vogel Match pellets produced nice groups (I'd be happy shooting with them) for all 3 sizes, 4.49, 4.495 & 4.5 (quote)

this is my thumb position which when viewed in this picture doesn't look as down as it really is and i have no problems with it i find if i have my thumb straight then it sticks out away from the pistol

I have the problem at the other end of the scale. Range with no air conditioning, about 42-44 deg C (104-106 F). OK I have never known me shake like a shitting rat in a temp of +30 I may sweat a bit but i do shake at minus 4 ok this is not the coldest people shoot at but to shoot a ten yard 60 shot...

buy a good quality sizer you may get a shock at how poor your favorite pellet is i size RWS RN10's and they can be atrocious size wise the ones i use are 4.51 my sizer is 4.52 the pellets stick out of the top some drop nearly through it . some may say well your sizer could be out but at the price it...

i trained my parrot to get used to the sound of my pistol by covering the end with foam sponge and just shooting through you cant hit anything but it worked he soon got used to the full sound maybe you could try this method on your dogs
