forgot to say, I seat my bullets just a hair out from flush. Just so if I run my thumb nail along the case it will slightly catch the lead. I also use a slight roll crimp and don't replace split or weakened cases very much or at all. As far as accurqacy goes, I think if you shoot off of some sand ba...

O.K.,I've been readind this thread and here's my 2 cnts. I had the same problem and this is what works for me. The gun is a 52-1 and I was having heavy leading and FTF issues after about 125-150 rnds. I would have to spend about 30 minutes scrubbing, picking and brushing the lead out of the barrel. T...

At the moment, I am giving very serious thought to going to ultradot sights on all my guns. But, I will hold off on that till I settle down my shooting problems. Cris, I too returned to BE shooting after about 25 yrs. and found everyone shooting Red Dots instead of scopes. I went from iron sites to ...

Target scoreing plugs

Hello all, I've been looking for some scoreing plugs called Rig EZ Plug but can't find any. I know you've all seen them, with the little magnifying ring and the spring handle. The company who made them has discontinued them and I can't seem to find anyone with some old stock. So I was wondering if an...

Need help with .45 loads

Hello all, I need some help and figure this is the place to get it. I currently shoot 50' indoor pistol and always have. I'm thinking about shooting outdoor matchs next season and need some input on loads. I currently shoot 185gr. SWC/3.8gr. BE with good results. I'm thinking of going to 200gr. SWC ...

All I can say is when I stopped shooting some 25 years ago I had about 5000 rnd. of .22 target ammo. When I started shooting BE again last year, I used it and have been since. Not one mis-fire or glitz of any kind. But now I've got to replenish my supply....bob v

I've used rosen bags with good sucess. They are not as messy as powder.
Gil Hebard used to sell them I think, but you could probly get some at a bowling ally or bowling supply. I live on the East coast and it can get pretty humid in the summer and the rosen ( powder ) does improve your grip....bob v

Re: Gun-Ho Pistol Boxes No Longer Being Made

I just purchased a 4 gun Gun-Ho pistol box and learned they are no longer being made. Same story with the 5 gun boxes. I contacted 4 retaillers and got the last one available from ChampionShooters.com. Just curious where you've learned of this information I talked to the lady at Gil Hebard. She tol...
