Awesome! Let us know how it performs. Do you see any advantages, higher scores, less elbow pain?

Re: Need help choosing
I hear ya bud! He's right, just talk to the guys at your range. Many times, they just assume you already know what you are doing or else you wouldn't be there. They just might be worried you are better than them as well. As far as rifle over pistol...I had the same dilemma years ago. However, You ar...

Re: Grease for CA cylinder threads?
I read somewhere on an ISSF forum that using a synthetic moly grease is okay for CA cylinder threads. I have some of the moly grease Larry's guns sells for lubing Hammerli sears. Will this do the job if used sparingly?

Pardini 32ACP lead bullet
If anyone's still watching.....I have a shooting buddy who bought the new Pardini 32ACP and uses a cowboy bullet for Bulls-eye competitions because he cant find Hornady XTP's http://www.missouribullet.com/details.php?prodId=184&category=5&secondary=17&keywords= He says he gets sub two in...

Pick any you want...but I think you are defeating the purpose of the conversion unit. It's designed to let you train with the trigger you have on your current 1911 without having the recoil distraction, or cost, of the 45 cal round. I know lots of guys who compete using the Marvel because it is such...

I shoot revolvers all the time at matches. let the RO know you are shooting a revolver in the match and they will be happy to slow the cadence a bit to accomodate. Often times the RO will watch your position to see that you are at a ready stance befor continuing. If not, walk over and say something....

32 S&W long at 50 yds.
Hello, I've been on the search for a mold to decrease the cost of shooting my Pardini HP32. I did research on this mold and found other fellow shooters that agree whole-heartedly. The Saeco #323 bullet mold, produces bullets that shoot better or as good as the H&N or even Lapua bullets. I am the...

Fiocchi 22FLRN STD VEL
I just finished ransom rest testing this same ammo I bought at Sportsmans Warehouse. This stuff shoots great! 50 yds groups under .5" on a cold breezy day. I tested my old "best" ammo WOLF MT (.71") and some CCI STD VEL (1.1")at the same time, the fiocch shot better! All amm...

Hirtenberger brass
Picked up 300 rds Hirtenberger brass from Larry's. I find the primer pockets very tight and it take LOTS of force to seat primer completely. 3 out of 75 cases STUCK to my .312 expander die and had to be cut off. Anybody know why?... have a remedy? I'm thinking lube like rifle brass?

Thats a great price, however...The auction states no international shipping. Not sure if this means none outside Europe or none outside Germany? Springer, where do you live?

Grips can be found all over the place but...be prepared to pay dearly. Larry's guns out of Maine (larrysguns.com) has the grips most of the time in various conditions. Never seen his sell for less than $175 used. All the big mfg's make them for $300-$400. Nil grips, Morini, Fung...just do a search f...

Chuck Jordan... I used the bottom tool from Brownells as posted by "zoned". I belive the manufacturer is Clymer but not sure. You can buy the tool from Brownells for about $75 IIRC. I rented the tool from 4-D reamer rentals for I think $30 and re-crowned three barrels with it. Be sure to o...

Go to a machine supply shop. They will have the proper punch and Lowes might as well ($4-8). Make sure you are drifting from the left side of the frame (left side while looking down the sights). Your pins appear to be staked from the right (mushroomed on the right side) but double check and drift fr...

Here's the finished rebuild of my toz 35. I took 168 grams (6oz) off the entire pistol with the removal of wood from the grip, metal from the frame, and removal of the front stock (56g) Total pistol weight is 1177 grams (2.66lbs or 42.56oz). See all the different stages (author agentr) of the rebuil...

The crown , before the re-crown, had a visible gnash in it. I did not Ransom Rest the pistol like I did after the recrown. Testing had been done off sandbags achieving 1.5-3" groups. This could not be considerd a fair comparison because Ransom Rest testing is so much more reliable than a sand b...

I went with the 11*. There is no protection for a flush cut crown. The reason I went with a crown cutter and not a lathe is that it VERY difficult to ensure your new crown will be perpendicular to the bore UNLESS you use the crown cutter. Furthermore, if you don't have a 35M, the front sight shroud ...
