This mod removed 35-40 grams from total weight of my toz 35. (the drill shavings ended up all over my shop making it difficult to determine exact weight reduction) I'll clean up the rough edges later and will probably remove less than one gram http://i1117.photobucket.com/albums/k595/agentr8/CIMG000...

David's comment as to POI being lost in wobble within your hold is valid and would hold true for most all shooters just as he stated. I was speaking strictly from a precision point of view ie. firing from a ransom rest where wobble has been eliminated. The guy asked if it could change the point of i...

The barrel weight pictured above is exactly what my buddy who shot a Toz 35 in the Atlanta Olympics did. (except yours looks a whole lot nicer). His weighed in at approx. 1.25 ozs. Free pistol asked; Does moving or changing the amount of weight change the point of impact? This type, being attached t...

Yeah. I figured I'd just have to cut the crown in place. I was just hoping to do the most professional looking job I could. The cutter should arrive any day now. If I have to cut the barrel indent a little (the metal ring that currently protects the crown)...so what. I'ts all about the best funtiona...

Another question if anybody knows. How do you remove the front sight fron a Toz that does NOT have the detent screw inside the front sight??? I want to re-crown this relic and finish my refubishing. Before I get a bunch of posts about not touching the crown, be advised, this one has a visible gnash ...

paulo, I shoot bullseye pistol (45acp) as well as the Olympic pistols. I use a "gripmaster" excersizer and lift an 8 lbs weight daily. This has drastically helped my hold as well as the consistency of my scores. My right shoulder is twice the size of my left...but I 'll have to live with t...

From my experience, I cant see why anybody would want to remove weight. The barrels on the toz are so light, they bounce around like you're shooting from the bed of a moving truck. I fabricated this balance weight setup ($16), with 109 grams of addtitional weight, that can fine tune the center of gr...

I disagree and agree with 2650 plus. Although I am just shy of a 2600 pistol shooter, all the 2600 plus shooters I know (US ARMY Reserve pistol team), hold their their shoulder high and look down thier arm. I asked about this and was told it helps to lock the joints and helps absorb alot of the reco...
