coated pellets

Hi Donny,

I have just renewed my inquiry about the coated pellets under "cheap pellets". Oz has bought some 20 tins of this and I too am awaiting for his test group results.

cheap pellets

Hi Oz,

Was wondering if you have had the time to test the pellets. Am very curious at how these nuclear wastes go in terms of accuracy. I have tried in vain to check out what its coating is made of. Any feedback on this?

Regards,

It's been over 24 hours......Free Pistol! Free Pistol! Free Pistol Free Pistol! Free Pistol! Free Pistol....

I'd appreciate someone making the chant and the font more stylish and colorful to make the Steyr people hear and read our clamor more clearly. :-)

LP 50 velocity

I recently acquired a new LP10 (M), and I have yet to bench rest it for accuracy. I too would like to know of the results of your shot group. For velocity, the Steyr people recommends between 155m/s to 160m/s as ideal. Please see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EknIAlut_hE At 160m/s, that would be ab...

Pellet prices

Hi Oz,

Just wondering what happened to your accuracy tests? Am very interested with the accuracy of these "nuclear wastes" as luftskytter puts it. :-)

pellets

Hi Oz,

Please do keep us informed of the pellets' legitimacy. God forbid they are of varying tolerances, or the ones swept off the floor, or worse, corroded. :-) I know I wouldn't be able to ship them to my part of the world though. Sigh.

pellet price a hoax?

Hi Joker. Thanks for the quick opinion.

I am a full blooded asian and, with no offense meant, what does it mean when you said that old english expression "...never look a gift pellet in the mouth..."? :)

pellet prices--is this a hoax?

Hi. I am unsure as to where to post this as I find the price a bit too cheap. Is this a hoax? http://www.priceinsanity.com/servlet/the-1072489/Beeman-1235-Wadcutter-Pellets/Detail?category=Airguns+%26+Accessories%3APellets%2FBBs%2FAmmo Label says it is "all purpose" pellet instead of "...

Ron, very nice the aluminium one! Please, what is outside diameter of the compensator, and what size are the hole in the top? I'm planning a similar one for my toz (with non removable sight), and i'm asking how to fasten secure to the barrel, without using a big diameter to have enough space to scr...

compensator

Hello Luke,

The compensators are no longer with me as they were ordered by some friends. They were all done without any formal drawings--Filipino style! ;-) I will ask my friend to bring it and do some measuring for you. Will send you back details.

nitrogen powered break barrel

I really wouldn't know where to post this question. But I would like to get feed backs from those who have tried these nitrogen powered break barrel rifles. As advertised, they seem to be much better than spring-piston powered ones. Do they really produce lesser kick/recoil? Are they as accurate to ...

compensator

Hello Ben, The plastic compensator, with its double chamber was more effective. The 107's barrel being way above the web compared to the 150 (where the aluminum comp was for) the muzzle rise was more controlled. The reason for this is the seal formed through the ends of each chamber. So, effectively...

steyr in Canada

Being one who believes that velocity is critical to an air gun's accuracy, wouldn't a 500fps limit be a detriment to Canadian shooters? Can there not be a move to request that, being target pistols used for serious competitions, that such velocity may be increased to, say, a max of 560fps? I mean, w...

Pellets

By no means to cause any disrespect to the many opinions. If my gun were to shoot a 12mm group of 5 shots, when I know it can do under 7mm, given the same pellets, would that not cause any doubts? I believe that part of the process of learning and affirming is that you would be able to call your sho...

Pellet - R10 vs Finale Match

My two cents worth. If your air pistol cannot produce a group that is under 8mm in diameter, I think you are going through a match with a serious disadvantage. Check out the target sample that comes with your gun. With reasonable quality pellets, match guns are expected to make or at least approach ...

It would be fairly easy to have it machined. Just check out the MG Free Pistol comp. I think the length of the taper of its cone is at least 25mm. Its shape kind of reminds me of the tee used in golf. Ask your machinist to make one for you that will be about 20mm long (taper). I shared some photos o...

compensators

Hi Fred, I am hesitant to chime in purely because only a few believe that compensators can help. I am one of them. To me, even if it increases the shot group size by 10% yet I realize that the recoil is lessened by at least 30%, that would be fine. So, to achieve such, enough pressure should be redi...
