Reinhamre was probably just very unlucky with his unit, hence the bad experience he has had was merely translated into words. Nevertheless, people may have their own ways/habits that are deemed "safe" in operating this kind of firearm yet may not be tolerated by particular models. At least...

Re the FWB Model 65, I may be wrong but the gun had a recoil to some degree which was absorbed by the top part riding on its rails. In other words, the travel length of about 10mm rearwards upon firing and its weight were enough to make it feel as though it was recoiless. My opinion, and I don't mea...

Periodic inspection (which includes but is not limited to pressure testing) for pressure vessels is mandated by each country's legislation. I would agree without second thoughts to mandated periodic testing. Safety is paramount. However, if such cylinder was deemed safe after universally acceptable...

That's so sad that such a quality product yesteryears has gone bad especially with stiff competition around. Odd that they have not corrected this despite such flaws which I am sure have reached them

pcp cylinder

Sir David. What if the tank was stamped Dec 2010 and then by 2020 I had it Pressure (hydro) tested and the tester stamped on a validity date good for 5 years and was provided a "certificate" of sorts to attest to it. Will that be acceptable with the issf?

Hammerli FP60

Hi.

I understand this free pistol has been out on the market a few years. I'd like to hear some detailed reviews of the gun please. I am somewhat biased towards Hammerlis as I have been using a 160 and previously a 107.

Thanks!

LP10E Recoil

If you fire this unit with the fingertips of your free hand forming a "vee" for the tank to rest on, and with the shooting hand, you squeeze the trigger in such a way the rear part is just resting on your thumb, every shot will produce a "nudge" no matter how perfect the squeeze ...

Gentlemen, Just my two cents worth. This is a forum of thoughts. If you disagree with what Russ says then disagree. But there's no need to be combative or angry about his posts. A lot are invites to his training method but nobody's forced to go and do so. While I disagree with a number of his though...

Pardini ammo

Yes I have used such ammo with varying amounts of lube. I am not much of a 25meter shooter and my Pardini has fired probably just 600 rounds despite that it has been with me for over a year. I have yet to clean it "thoroughly" yet have not experienced any problems, misfires or cycling. I m...

Pardini Ammo

Perhaps CCI has varying production batches that produces such troublesome ammunition? We have never encountered such problems here in the Philippines. Would it be possible for those who have experienced this to try other batches? Just a thought.

tank refills

On a really full scuba tank 120-140 shots maybe depending on the velocity settings and yes velocity is adjustable.

But this does not necessarily mean that you adjust its velocity because you feel like it. Varying its velocity will affect its accuracy.

Hello Mark, I couldn't say that I solved my squeezing problem but I had a couple of triggers done that not only lessened the distance from the web of the hand to the face of the trigger blade but also modified it with a "skewed" face to accommodate the direction/angle of my trigger finger,...

I agree with al-sway. The bench resting is for one to determine and give confidence that your gun is doing what it is supposed to do; and this emphasizes that this is the "constant". When you fire the weapon with your hand, you know you are the variable which is the reason why shooters fir...

No offense, Dev. But it seems to me that this is likely a case of being influenced by some other shooters' thoughts; pretty much a psychosomatic thing. I can't really explain it much further but because these pellets are "top of the line" and have been used by the best shooters with succes...

Titanium Morini

Like many other stuff, it is another marketing gimmick to sell the product not only to a shooter but also to a potential collector. A compensator, to which I ascribe to, may not have an effect on accuracy but I do feel a significant difference with the action; the "titaniumed" parts will h...

Hi Brian, Very mature thoughts on the shot process. I have been shooting since the early 1980s and those are the goals I have yet to achieve completely. Needless to say I agree that it is not limited to physical training to achieve a better performance (as evidenced by the score), though of course, ...

Thanks John.

The knurling sound cum feeling seems to come from below the bolt. I tried to disassemble it but I stopped at trying to remove the screw of the cocking lever. It seemed to have some loctite used on it that it just doesnt want to turn. Unless it's reverse threaded.

Regards,

Ron

compensators

Thanks again for the replies. One more thing. Whenever I cock my LP10, more than half the time it produces a "knurling" sound as the bolt slides towards the rear. Imagine a piece of plastic that runs through a cylinder with small machined lines produced by a lathe while sizing the cylinder...

air pistol compensators

Thanks for the replies. I too believe that this gadget works to improve accuracy and handling, albeit minimally. I did a compensator of sorts for my FWB C-20 in the early 1990's, the muzzle of which was 4.56mm dia that the nose of a pellet would go through this but not the skirt (when inserted for d...
