Ken O I frequently buy O-rings at Ace. They have a large selection of metric and "inch" sizes. A friend, who at one time was the largest Pardini AP dealer in the US, bought a bunch of "space shuttle" grade O-rings (he lived near Grumman Aircraft on Long Island) and hand delivered...

I tried both Bondo and "plastic wood" with some success.

The easiest by far was "AquaMend" from the glue section of Home Depot.

It's a two part epoxy that you just rip off a chunk, knead it, and apply. It can be easily filed and sanded.

I was told by a Russian neurologist and pistol shooter that brain surgeons often have a nip or two of vodka before operating to reduce essential tremor.

Sounds good to me.

Smith 41

I have dry fired thousands of times since 1984 with my M41 and still have all the original parts in use. What's not to like?

I've found that my SSP Pardini K58 reacts so little to the discharge that I would not bother with a Turbocomp, if you could even find one. I have one on a CO2 K60 that I think is a little helpful, but probably wouldn't bother with one if I didn't already have it. I did find it a little distracting o...

Put two targets together in the target frame. Shoot. Change top target and shoot some more. Do this several times. Look at the rear target. Ignore the bad shots and adjust the sights to move the group to the center. Many guns use 4 clicks per scoring ring. This method keeps you from "chasing&qu...

Interesting topic. I once had a Nygord sizer that I sold when Don himself told me it didn't work. He said he made them because people bought them. That said, my limited testing shrank some of my groups with my FWB 65. The most interesting thing was that it allowed me to seperate by "feel" ...

It's not like I don't have or haven't tried anything else. It is just that the SSPs are such sweet guns. You can cock and load them about as fast as most other guns and faster than some (unless you're a kid or feeble). The other shooter I mentioned also has a top of the line PCP, but bought one of t...

Pardini still sells the K58 SSP. I really like mine; great trigger! They are quieter and have less disturbance on discharge than anything I've tried.

I like like the SSPs because you don't need a thing besides the gun and a can of pellets. One the top shooters at my club just bought one, too.

I use a whole or half Q-tip because I'm cheap and because they cause a lot more resistance in an FWB 65 or spring powered air rifle.

I would not use a solvent in a spring gun for fear of dieseling.

Since no one has responded. The one I had needed to returned twice for repair before I finally sold it. The feel was incredibly good and I shot my personal best using it.

I remember hearing they were somewhat unreliable, but not horrilby so.

If that is, in fact, his problem they should have already issued him glasses. It would be counter-productive to do otherewise.
