Re: Cheap pellets problem K12
I used GECOs, then they became RWS Basics (???). Basics are all I use now, even though I've tested others that were microscopically better. I've played with many brands of pellets. I have noted that there is an occasional, rare, "shitty" tin among them. Maybe it's the bottom of the bin as ...

Re: FWB cylinder gauge leak
" If you think all gauges are worthless, what do you go by when you fill?" Easy! I screw them onto my SCUBA tank and open the valve. Then I close the valve and unscrew them. Viola! If I get 80 or more shots per fill, I'm good. If i get less, I have a dive shop refill the SCUBA tank. I don...

The manometers I've seen/used are generally worthless. Fill your cylinder before a use/match and forget 'em.
Leaky? Take off the other end and squirt some epoxy down there and forget 'em!

Makes as much sense as these two pages.

Re: AP and best friends?
Wow, the cioppino turned out to be excellent. There was enough liquid left to convert it to a pasta sauce then frozen.
Next Friday it will be De Cecco orecchiette pasta with refurbed sauce, mussel meat, and piselli. Red wine, of course.
I'll leave you guys to your "poodles."

After careful consideration of the above information, I have come to the conclusion that the .177 pellets are most likely to perform well.

You don't say why you want a change, but I changed the sight on mine.
I took a 3/16 inch chain saw file and opened the notch to a half moon. Much better!
The Russians liked it. too.

Re: SAM10 O-Rings
I knew Phil Saccio, who was the largest Pardini AP dealer in the US (pissing off Don Nygord). He lived on Long Island, a hotbed of exotic aircraft. He flew to Italy to meet with Signore Pardini, taking with him a huge bag of high-tech O-rings as a gift, since Pardini's rings were crap. Anyway, I sug...

Match music
I've seen a few posts commenting on the background music played during some matches. Some felt it was not appropriate for the venue.
I've given the matter some thought and I suggest the following as being the most likely to be pleasing to all.

Re: Air Pistol selection
Steyr dealer Pilkington in the US has been refusing to sell full-length APs to anyone not proven to be capable of a decent level of accuracy.
I think that tells you what he thinks.
I don't see any problems with your further thinking on the matter.

"I prefer the scuba tank, but I hate lugging/driving it to get filled, and having the annual visual."
If you feel this way, go with the large nitrogen tank. They will deliver a full one and exchange the empty. Also, it will last damn near forever.

After seeing the results due to unskilled handling on two compressors at my former club, I say don't add to the horror.
Use a SCUBA tank or large nitrogen tank, after all, you've already seen the results of YOU.
