Does anyone use a thumb up posture to hold the air rifle grip? I found my hand is less strained and fingers less tension when I hold my thumb up. But someone pointed to me that it is not a very good idea to have your thumb up. Any comment??
Thanks.

Pellet Test Rig for Air Rifle (DIY)
Does anyone have a plan or idea to build a test rig for air rifle? Those available on the market are a bit out of my budget. I have seen one with the manufacturer's description: "With the Test Bench the rifle is moving naturally with recoil giving the same group characteristics as when shooting...

Rear sight question - air rilfe
I shoot my FWB 700 AR upright (i.e. not canting). My rear sight has to be set about 3mm to the right to bring my pellets to centre. I tested this my resting the AR on table and shot upright. The left-right adjustment is the same. That is about 3mm to the right. Is this normal? Or does it mean pellet...

pellet grouping sizes
Does anyone have a link or reference to H & N finale match and Match factory claimed grouping size? I saw it somewhere but couldn't find it anymore. It is something like <6.1mm or <6.7mm. I need the official figures not the individual batch test results. Thank you.

guns are strictly controlled in China and is true for air guns as well. If you have official invitation for competitions, that is of course much less hassle. If you are on a private trip, please plan well ahead and have your corresponding organisation in Beijing to endorse your weapon's custom clear...

I totally agree with methosb. Since last October, 5 members of my club including myself were looking at buying our own ARs. Two of us were looking at Walther's Carbontec and Anatomic. After numerous emails (most unidirectional) between Germany and my computer, the two disappointed members (including...

Grip sizes of FWB, Morini and Steyr
Dear all, I would like to ask those who have shot the following APs to comment on the relative grip sizes: FWB P44 Morini CM162 EI/MI Steyr LP10 In my home town most people shoot LP10 with only one CM162EI. No one owns a P44 so I can't get one to try. I found medium grip size on LP10 and CM162 fits ...

Question on adding sight riser block
When I shoot without sight riser blocks, the vertical adjustment on the rear sight is about in the middle of the vertical adjustment range. If I add about 22mm of riser block to the rear and front sight, should I add the same height to both rear and front sight to keep the rear sight adjustment in t...

F-marks on German Firearms
I understand that an F-mark inside a pentagon means the weapon in question has muzzle energy less than 7.5 joules. What about an F-mark in a crown? It is sort of like a crown superimposed on a triangle. I have seen this on Walther's LG300XT Anatomic air rifle and SP22 pistol.

Walther LG300XT
Hi all. I am new to this forum. I have a few questions regarding Walther air rifle. Can anyone tell me if Walther makes all components of their air rifles in Germany? I have been told that they make some of the parts in far east. May be not true. Are these air rifles reliable? What is the advantage ...
