Ray-Vin Scope Stands
Between my son and myself, we own 4 scope stands. One Freeland tripod, two Ray-Vin FStands, and one Ray-Vin bench rest stand. In my opinion, the Ray-Vin scope stands are by far, the finest on the planet. They are expensive but worth every penny.

WD 40
WD 40 will in time produce a varnish on the treated surface. I know gunners who use it, but I would never recommend it for firearms.

Vise
Using a vise has nothing to do with pressure. I just find it convenient to have it hold the rifle. The vise I use is the plastic Tipton version.

Cork Filler
Cork is a great filler. Light, firm, and cheap.
