Walther

Hi Robin, That sounds just like it :) I have no doubt that it's a fine Smallbore rifle & should serve my son well. It looks like it is well loved was owned by a retied prone shooter how just shoots Benchrest now. I would love to find an owners manual somewhere, so we can set it up just right for...

Walther

Hi all, I am looking at a Walther for my 17 year old son, he has been using my anschutz 1813 but he keeps growing so we have to make heaps of setting changes each time we shoot. I would like to know more about the Walther. It's a 3P wooden, thumb hole stock, we think by looking at it, it maybe a mid...

Hi Netninja,

If your 1813 is going fine, leave it, let sleeping dogs lye. I HAD trouble with the odd miss fire, I fixed by cleaning out the bolt and the trigger assembly, then moving the trigger assembly back about 2mm. It has not miss fired again.

The old 1813 is a great rifle!

Hi all,

I got a chance to go to the range yesterday, between my son & I we put 200 rounds or more through the 1813 and it did not miss fire once. So cleaning the trigger & moving the trigger assembly back has done the tick.

A BIG THANKS to all for advise, this is great site to pick up hints

1813 Misfire

Hi all, Thanks for all your help, I use Eley club, the other people in our club that use Eley club don't have the misfires at all. I am going to clean it right up, if no better I'll move the trigger assembly back after a few measurement, if that does help looks like a new firring pin and spring. If ...

1813 Misfire

Can any one help? My 1813 misfires, not a lot about 2 or 3 times each box of 50 rounds. I have heard instead of butting a new firing pin and spring I can move the trigger assembly forward or back under the barrel. I would love to hear all your ideas, the bloke that told me this could not remember wh...
