Precision air rifle. What models should I look at?

I am interested in getting a full-size precision air rifle. Is there any particular brand that is better? Any brands to avoid? I have been reading about the WALTHER LG300XT, anyone know if it is as good as the description on Champions choice says it is? (I would be interested in pros/cons also). Doe...

Try the daisy 499's. They are BB guns, but that is what my club starts people out with at that age. I think they are under $100.00 new. The 4h has a national competition (I.B.B.G.C.M.) in which these are the only guns I have seen used. In order to get to this match, you have to qualify at the state ...

You aren't supposed to shoot holes in the cards, you are supposed to shoot the cards in half with one shot.

I would also like to know if lifting weights affects your score.

I do pull-ups, not weights, and have noticed that I can do more after a break.

I think it takes more than overnight for your muscles to recover after a workout.

Again, if anyone has an answer to this question, I would be interested.

I would take advice from a shooter who is at a lower level than me,(Although I would be more cautious of advice from a lower level shooter than that of a higher level shooter). Anything is worth a try.

I have not dealt with this rifle much. ( I shot it once or twice)

You might be able to move the front sight. If you can on this gun, it might fix your problem.

Is there a chance the shooter snatching the trigger?

I have a Benjamin pump air riffle. it shoots 800 fps, strong enough to kill a squirrel. It is pretty accurate. How old is he? You have to pump it 8 times per shot. By the way, as far as I know, there is no term that describes accuracy. Fps stands for ,feet per second. Most single pump riffles that s...

Hello, I can tell you how to make a light, easy to take apart, frame. First, you will need some conduit (2 pieces which can slide together) , a saw that is capable of cutting steel, and a conduit bender (don't know technical name). 1: cut two sections each equal lengths, this will be the legs. 2: cu...

For what ever reason, people seem to like riffle better than pistol.
All of our pistol shooters started out as riffle shooters.

You have to train your self not to get excited. Breath deep.
It can be done. I was at a match the last time I set a new personal best.
I was automaticly calming my self down ,and trying to slow my heat rate even though the competition was over.

Just work hard, and breath deep.

On another note, have you had a recent growth spurt?
Last year, my scores dropped. We think I went threw a growth spurt.
If that is the case you should be back to your old score after a little while.
Just don't give it up (I was tempted to quit shooting when my scores dropped).

I shoot 3 pos. air riffle. So, I will try to explain my position over the net. The idea is to put most of your weight on the left arm,(you should be able to lift your right arm of the ground without much strain). Make sure your left arm is not strait up and down. Lift your right leg up in the direct...
