How do you measure for making these?

Re: Hap Rocketto for NRA BOD

Already voted for you. Only a couple other competitive shooters on the ballot that I know of, seems the NRA wants celebrity types instead. If there are, let us know.

New Iron sight class

If I want to shoot in the iron sight class, but only have open classification. Do I sign in as Unc/Master, or as my open classification Marksman?

Re: IZH 46M problem

Thanks. I took off the grips, not a whole lot to see, but I poked around under the bolt with a tiny screw driver, and punch. Something moved, and it released the bolt, and allowed it to cock. It works fine now. I have no idea what moved, I sure wish I knew in case it happens again. Something must h...

Re: IZH 46M problem

It's been a while since I've studied one closely, but "ricardopresto" may have been on the right track. I think if the front end of the flat bar that connects the lever assembly to the breech block slides sideways into the slot, it would lock things up. This might happen if you tilt the p...

IZH 46M problem

I was shooting this today, and suddenly it won't cock all the way to take in the air. Seems the bolt hits something inside when trying to lift it to load, and restricts the cocking lever from traveling. It goes back far enough to barely see the rubber on the piston.

Any help would be appreciated.

I would guess one of the seals is missing. The triangle block has a seal in front, and on the bottom. They are know to go awol. You would notice if the front was gone, check the bottom seal.

That rumor went around about 5 or 6 years ago also, but then 4 and 8 pounders started showing up again. I expect to see BE again when things start flowing again.

Bulleye is my favorite also, but Clays and 231 also have worked well for me. There are other choices....

I get eye checkups yearly. I still have 20/20 and he says I don't need glasses. But, at age 66 other things come into play, my close vision sucks. The Doc tells me what I need for reading, and its a different one for computer, think its 1.75 and 1.25. The 1.25 was still too strong for my sights usin...

I also opened a Gmail account just for the Bulleye list. I just checked it and there are new posts. I agree that a real forum would be much better, Brian Zins tried, but few showed up.

I have dial-up and have no problem with any forum.

IZH-46 o-rings

All I need is the breech o-rings. Its crazy for what they want for them, I don't want the whole rebuild ring kit. My Izzy has a habit of blowing one out every so often, I usually find it, but not always. I found a place that sells just the breech washers (2), but wants $15 to ship them. That hit a n...

I'm also in the camp of get rid of the special clothes. If no one uses them, we would all be on the level playing field. Kind of reminds me of the steroids in sports, "everyone else does them, so I have to to compete". (necessary evil) I know this is not a popular opinion because we paid a...

I agree. I think we all wish it would go to a forum format, but doesn't look like it is heading that way. Brian Zins started a forum a couple years ago and I was hoping Bulleye shooters would migrate there, but it didn't happen. The Bulleye L does have the most activity, you have to wade through the...

I downloaded and printed targets for years. Then I figured what I spent on the ink cartridges..... I could have bought the targets on the heavy paper cheaper.
