Preparing barrel for a sight extension / bloop tube
I am adding a MEC Berta 2 extension to my 1913. This is my first time using a tube, do I need to prep the barrel in any way before installation? The extension will not be removed frequently because it will fit in the case with it on. I don't want to take it off later and find the barrel finish ruine...

Olympic quality firearms/air guns manufactured in the USA?
I was asked that question at leagues this week and all I could do was give them a blank stare and look down at my German rifle.
I did a quick search on the forum and didn't come up with anything, so I am now asking the combined brain trust of the site.

Re: Would you buy a used Biathlon rifle off the internet?
Thanks Art, I did'tn not know that about the rifle. I guess my concern comes from a couple of uneducated assumptions and thoughts: 1. I've never grabbed a rifle by the barrel and spun it so I don't know what the effect would be. 2. Out of the hundreds (thousands) of times that rifle is swung in to p...

Would you buy a used Biathlon rifle off the internet?
While watching the Olympics, I cringed every time a saw a competitor grab the barrel of the rifle and swing it around in to position. Knowing that that is done hundreds of time in its life time during matches and practice and the fact that the rifles get wet often, it makes me wonder if it is a good...

Craigslist score!!
Every couple of days I search Craigslist for the word: gun, rifle, pistol, pellet, safe and this popped up in a town 45 minutes away.

MR.
It looks like you really want the Pardini to be the answer. Buy it, or you will always be thinking about it.
There is no bad choices in tier 1 air rifles.

Re: Easy Quest? [one more time]
I have both FWB and Anschutz SSP rifles that can out shoot my hold, but when I buy a newer PCP it will be a Walther only because of the loading gate.
The dexterity in my fingers is not getting any better and I know the drop and slide action will let me shoot years longer.

Contact the NRA and bullet trap manufactures like Savage or Range Systems (if indoor) and ask them the question.

For some of us, a Rover's Month is a constant thing. I does not have to do with contentment or happiness with the last purchase, it is about the thrill of the hunt. For me this months "Hunt" is for a pre 1960 Ruger standard pistol with a 4" (ish) barrel 85%+ finish with original box a...
