Re: RT rifles all around the world
Why are most RT rifles wooden? Why don't you usually see alu ones? Hi RT rifles are not a very fast developing breed as there are very few shooters out there (because of the non-olympic discipline unfortunately). As disciplines for pneumatic rifles started to gain more interest by the sport shootin...

Re: Did anyone shoot CO2 in RT events?
HI
I know that Steyr and Feinwerkbau produced CO2 RT rifles but I have never seen them in the competitions and as far as I understand they stayed as "collectibles". Even today you can see in the RT competitions SSP-s and PCP-s only

Re: Electronic trainers (SCATT) in running target.
Has anyone tried to use one of the electronic trainers (such as SCATT) for running target? If so, what did you do and how did it work? Hi I know that the Finnish training system Noptel (www.noptel.fi, direct link - http://www.noptel.fi/eng2/Sport/index.php?doc=2_products/9_cataloque) even has a sep...

Re: how do i use a dual post scope?
First of all - buy good pair of mounts. Please throw away those discount static scope mounts. Your scope will thank you for that. Top of the range is EAW - Ernst Apel - www.eaw.de...but the specialized mounts for the RT (adjustment for windage and elevation) is a very rare found. Also the mounts cos...

Re: RT at the Olympics?
HI I would not stick to those quotes. This does not reflect the real life of RT. Lots of teams are not coming to WCH because lack of funding or other regulative reasons. Look at the more local level - European CH, Asian Games, even Dubai for example. That is the danger of losing your slot at the Oly...

RT rifles all around the world
Hi there! As here is a small community of RT I think it is very appropriate to post here some pictures of RT10 and RT50 (and why not RT100) rifle pictures. Pictures with user comments regarding the rifle itself are most welcomed. For a start I will start with the pictures I have gathered. Afterwards...

Re: Exercises specific to RT?
Hi all!! I agree with januzgi 100%. The key issues are: 1. Lift - the accuracy of the movement of the body system from static "ready position" to the moving target. 2. Aim - the following of the target using the movement of upper part of the body but keeping the "triangle" system...

DO NOT GREASE
Hi Bob is 100% right. When I was last year at European Championships I let to service my old Walther LG300 RT and the first thing that Walther technician saw was the greased trigger mechanism. He said that those mechanisms are basically service free - for the whole usage period of the the rifle you ...

Nickel RT scope pricing
Hi! Sorry I have sad news for you... Although this is a NICKEL old version it still has excellent optics for the RT event. 1000 USD price tag is a used optics price for high end RT shooter, so the target group for this price will be those guys. Now what I am sorry about... High end RT shooters use o...
