Re: New air pistol... old-new shooter
The MGH1 is pretty front heavy though. I also wanted a pistol with the weight closer to the hand, and ended up with a Feinwerkbau P44. If I was you I would look at the new Feinwerkbau P8X

Re: Steyr Sport Evo10 and Evo10E
Interesting to see that Steyr grips now have little in the way of finger grooves, and that they've caught on to what I've been preaching for years by venting the barrel shroud to cut weight. You shoot better with a lighter gun, it just needs to be enough weight, if the balance is correct. The quest...

Re: 25m Rapid Fire pistol suggestions
My pick is the Pardini RF - Mechanical. I have one and I like it. It does have a very raked grip from the factory which does not work for everyone. If the original Pardini grip is to "raked" then buy it with a Nill grip, the Nill grip's rake is closer to the Walther GSP and Hammerli pisto...

Re: Feinwerkbau P44 review
Can somebody quantify the effect of absorber malfunction on pellet position? Possibly with clamped pistol? When I have tested pellets it groups very well. I am pretty sure the inconsistent absorber has no effect on the pellet position it is just a little annoying the the recoil is not the same ever...

Re: Feinwerkbau P44 review
I have a P44 short and I am really happy about it. My main objection though is the absorber. Mine does not need to be adjusted often, but it is a little inconsistent. All other P44's I have tried is the same. I like the P44 much better than the lp10 but the absorber of the lp10 is clearly better. As...

I don't understand why they build up excitement for a premier and then don't publish any material right away. Kind of a drag they haven't published any data and proper pictures.

Re: Matchguns MG5
I previously had a MG5e and now amongst others have a CM84e. MG5 is a nice pistol no doubt about that. By default the grip has much more rake compared to the Morini. Sure it can be adjusted but you can't go far away from default without messing up harmonics between grip and pistol anyway. At least n...

Re: SP20 hight of front sight
I went to my parts bin TB and found two sights one from my own gun and one from a friends SP20. Two of the front sights measure 10.29 mm in height. I know that the two that are 10.29 mm are from our SP20's and were as supplied with the guns when new. The new sight I made to solve my problem is 13 m...

Re: SP20 hight of front sight
Ahhh....let me think....2mm shorter than the +2mm you already have. Maybe my English is too bad for explaining my question correctly but In my thread starter I mention that mine are 5 and 6mm. But since I don't know the hight of a standard sight I don't know if I have a standard and a +1mm or a +1m...

Re: SP20 hight of front sight
The question was never if I should get a +2mm front sight. I asked if I already have one since I don't know the height of a normal size.

Re: SP20 hight of front sight
When the sights are adjusted for rapid fire I can see the frame of the pistol in my sights. On my SP20's I found it was not the frame as such but when the rear sight is in the lowest position the rear sight block itself is in view in the bottom of the rear notch as it slopes slightly downhill. By r...

Re: SP20 hight of front sight
Thanks for all your comments. I was not out to make a new front sight though but just to buy a taller one. I guess that if a standard one is 4.25 mm then my 6 mm is what they call +2 mm.
