Thanks, Rob. I am actually doing both. I definitely need some kind of corrective lens and I am going to use the adjustable iris before it. I have read a lot of pro's and con's about adjustable iris, but even the pro's warn the same think as you did. I am still willing to give it a try since I don't ...

Yes, it is on my Anschutz 8002 manual, too. When I first read that, it seemed contradicting common recommendation that not removing cylinder to preserve the seal, but after I did some search on the web, I read the reason explained by, I think, if not remember wrong, by "BB Pelletier" why b...

Adjustable iris on rear sight or on shooting glasses?

My Anschutz 8002 and FWB 603 both have a fixed iris on the rear sight. I am thinking about replacing them with adjustable iris like Anschutz 9510. My 46 year-old eyes need every bit of help I can get. However, I have a pair of Varga for air pistol already. I figure instead of buying an iris for each...

in many cases it is not over-reach because: - many match pistol can be bougth without grip What I meant by "over-reach" was paying for the grip that comes with but doesn't fit, and then buying an after-market grip that fits. This is totally not making sense to me. I think if a manufacture...

Air guns of AZ is exchanging the grip for me. On your suggestion I'll talk to them about that. Thanks If they are dealing with Beeman, they may not doing much better than ourselves, and I doubt that AoA would push them much either. After all, customers relationship ends as soon as we pay up, right?...

If you need to order/pay a new grip, you should consider to buy a Rink grip instead of the original FWB. That is what I think too. Thanks for confirming that Rink is a better choice. However, I try not to over-reach on equipment (=money) before even firing the first shot on a pre-charge, the kind o...

Not sure 100%... but we should have most sizes of FWB grips in stock, perhaps we could swap with you for a reasonable fee. Hi Pilkguns, what is the chance that you have a "S" grip to swap with me? My dead line for return is closing. If you don't have any, I will just have to return it to ...

I bought a Daisy/Avanti 753 back some months ago when I was just "trying" this air gun thing out for myself (I should have known there was no turning back once you pull the trigger on one of these). I did not like the fact that the barrel weight had some gouge out of the box. I called thei...

Mr. Beeman must be very sadden knowing the company still bearing his name becomes just another toys company now. I think he was proud (arrogant?) enough to put his name on every product he imported because he thought nothing sub-his-standard would bear his name. His name might have meant quality spo...

Hi Pilkguns, That would be awesome if I can swap with you, of course, with a fee. That would save me a lot of hassle. Let me know when you have the grips back. I will contact you as soon as you notify me at "caltexel@aim.com". I must thank everybody here in the forum. You guys' helps have ...

Fred, Much thanks for pointing out a direction for me, I did not know that sellers like Brenzovich would "custom order" a pistol for customers. That is more like the kind of vendor I was expecting selling that level of products. The seller I bought from sells mostly sporting air guns. I bo...

Trade in a FWB P44 for a Morini 162EI/MI...good idea?

Hi there, I am new here and to precision air-pistoling, so I need some opinion from the experienced. I just received my new FWB P44 as my first CA pistol, but instead of XS size grip I requested, the seller sent one with size L grip. When I called the seller about that, I was told that they could no...
