Re: SSP ?

Probably the top of the line CO2 gun is the Steyr LP1. I've owned Walther CP series guns and Pardini K60s. The last two would be the cheapest CO2 guns you can find, but I just saw a FWB 2 in the classifieds reasonably cheap, but there are newer models out there. Any one of these is capable of winni...

Re: SSP ?

I'm curious off hand, what models were considered the top of the line CO2? I'd be more willing to try a CO2 match gun, then the large expense of PCP. Mostly just cause where I live, there aren't that many matches offered, so I just can't justify it. That and I stink at it anymore. :) Most of my air ...

Re: Anyone Know How To Stop IZH 46 Grip From Moving On Cocki

I'm glad you described how you solved your grip issue. I was watching this thread to see. I've a IZH-46M with Rink grips that want to move just ever so slightly during cocking. I don't think it is a problem or anything like that, but it's just kind of distracting. Now I know what I need to look for....

Re: New guy with question

What I did was I compared the hole size on the eyepal to the Merit disc using my wife's sewing needle to figure out I needed a smaller aperture. The Merit does work ok, but the suction cup likes to pop off my glasses, leaves spa big smear, etc., etc. The eyepal is much easier. For me anyway. YMMV na...

Re: New guy with question

If you want to try an iris but don't want to spend the $, pick up the appropriate version of EyePal. It works great for me, I can clearly focus on the front sightvwith a target at 10M clearly in focus. It is the same effect as an Iris, but with a fixed aperture size (they make one for pistol and on...

Re: How long will pellets keep?

If a tin goes bad, just scrape together the change under your car seats and buy another. Yeah, I know they're relatively cheap as compared to powder burners food, but I like to buy in bulk to save some costs and shipping. So some tins could end up sitting around for a few years before I get to them...

Re: How long will pellets keep?

I don't have a definitive answer, but I can tell you that I have some pellets that I purchased back around 2000ish that have been stored in a semi-climate controlled garage (probably 40-85 degrees) with the tape seals on (as well as a couple half-full tins with no seals) that all look and shoot jus...

How long will pellets keep?

Perhaps a dumb question, but roughly, how long will pellets keep if stored climate controlled, and with respect to match grade pellets, with the seal around the lid in place? I'm kind of an anal person who likes to have a decent inventory on hand, for both my pellets, .22, and a few centerfire rifle...

Custom IZH46m cocker wooden block

Perhaps a stupid question for which I apologize. Just curious if anyone makes custom wooden blocks for the cocking handle on the IZH pistol to replace the plain looking stock one. A nice piece of walnut would be nice. Little darker with perhaps a bit of figure. Just looking at it, I wouldn't have th...

I did a little research on the internet today and it seems that since the company making the FAS 604 has sold, it appears the 6004 is the same gun, just rebranded. Dunno if that is 100% correct. Hopefully quality will remain high.

I've just purchased an IZH with the trigger upgrade, whatever that means over the standard model, for $590. Free shipping. It's been quite awhile since I've priced these but I sure don't recall them being this pricey. I found it at a certain Warehouse that sells Airguns. Which I will never do busine...

Will a Lyman 93 Front Sight fit a FWB300?

Hi!

As the title says, will the Lyman 93 front sight fit the FWB 300s Universal?

I've a chance to pick one up reasonably with the inserts, but I need to be sure it'll fit the FWB dovetail.

Failing that, can I have a recommend sight to check out that will fit?

Thank you! Joe

I purchased a set of the air gun swingers from this seller and he does also list complete sets for air guns.

The swingers I purchased were good quality and have held up ok.

Worth a look perhaps....

Ruger Legal For Standard Pistol?

Hi ~ Just a quick question on the rules for firearms in standard pistol. I just want to try a match for fun and have both the Ruger MK2 with the 5 1/2" bbl, as well as the Government Model with the longer bbl. Which one, or both, is legal for standard pistol? I know neither one would be the pis...

Hello Oz ~ Yes, the oxidation issue is a problem from what I had gathered as well from reading previous posts, but was curious as to the time frame we are talking about on unopened tins. Months, years? And does storage conditions hasten or retard oxidation. Would storing them in an empty ammo can be...

Pellet shelf life question.

Hi ~ Perhaps a dumb question, but is there a shelf life to pellets, specifically R10's and Finale Match? And this would tie into my next part of the question, should they be stored in room temperature or does it matter if they are cold or what. Reason for that part is, my range is in my garage, whic...
