Re: Opinion on Walther Electronic Trigger

I returned my electronic trigger to Walther and swapped to the mechanical version. The electronic felt too 'spongy' to me. I don't know how to describe it but the mechanical is much more crisp. That's just my feeling. When I still shot pistol, all my pistols had electronic triggers, but the techniqu...

Re: Anything better than moleskin for a cheek rest?

I glued a thin sheet of cork. Works fine. Always warm feeling, absorbs sweat and when a little dirty (darker collor) use some sandpaper to make it new.

Re: cheek piece

glued a thin sheet of cork

feels warm in the winter, doesn't slip, absorbs sweat and if it gets dirty just go over it with some sandpaper
I replace it every season, it's very cheap

I have seemed to cleared the problem by pushing the contacts of part 084092 more together. It's the part where you slide the electronics in.

I can't reproduce the problem anymore (for the moment).

I finally can reproduce the strange thing... When I increase pressure realy slowly on the trigger, nothing happens, it just won't fire (even in dry fire). When I speed up increasing the pressure on the trigger, it works fine. Any ideas what it could be? I cleaned everything, changed battery, taped o...

I installed my Match 54 system in a 1413 stock and it doesn't have the washers under the bedding bolts. I only had time to test 7 different brands. Fortunately I was able to buy the rest of the Elye team stock that was left (1600 rounds). Those gave consistent results of +105 (on Meyton target). I d...

Correct way of installing receiver with barrel in stock ?

After reaching 575+ in 50m prone I finally decided to do some ammo testing with my old Anschutz Match 54 (1970) and the results were bad (even got 8's) except for one batch, Eley Team, wich isn't produced anymore... lucky me :( Before I start looking into bedding the system I want to be sure about s...

I dismantled it completely and couldn't find anything broken or even dirty. I gave everything a good clean and reassembled. In dry fire everything works fine, even when cocking. Next I'll try on the range. Something I was thinking of and the only remaining possibility is the following. I made myself...

Question for CM84e specialists

I had to quit a match yesterday after raising the pistol for more than 200 times :-( Most of the time the trigger wouldn't go off. Sometimes it worked for a few shots in a row. When the trigger wouldn't work, I removed the bullet, closed the breech and the trigger worked fine. Even if I continued to...

I had access to all the tools needed on my former job and scanned my Rink grip, also scanned part of the grip of a MU55. Combined both and printed the grip in ABS. This was a few years ago. Since then I sold the MU55. Maybe I still have the original files somewhere. If you consider the tools and tim...

I just hang the complete grip with a metal coathanger in the oven at 110°C for 30 minutes.
It's only after cooling that it hardens, so take it out the oven and hang it somewhere to cool down.
Works great.

Fimo, available in all colors, even different shades of brown.
I'm using it for the moment to change my free pistol grip.

The screw from the lever was not loose, it was even hard to get loose. I got the striker and bolt out, cleaned everything and put new teflon fat on. All works very smooth now. I payd attention to not touch that little screw that controls pellet velocity but yesterday at practice I noticed a differen...

Nothing to do with the pressure, it was indeed the lever getting rougher half way. Yesterday I disassembled the pistol and couldn't find anything wrong. I had to stop at the bolt and striker, don't know how to remove them, any ideas? After assembling it worked fine. Had a practice yesterday of 80 sh...
