Re: Pardini scope ring question
Warne steel rings and red loctite in threads. The rosin application is a wonderous idea. The compensator from Shooters Box would cancel more recoil too

Re: Dimension for taper crimp 38 HBWC cartridge.
I have the sense that a taper crimped cartridge would have a uniform outside diameter, regardless of brass manufacturer. I used to shoot LC brass; was so thick walled. I’d see some loaded cartridges bulge slightly, so the TC die would give me assurance that they’d feed smoothly. I have in the past, ...

Pardini SP 22 hands down. The plus is that you can get grips from Rink or Nill to fit perfectly

Dimension for taper crimp 38 HBWC cartridge.
Gentleman: Gil Hebarb sent me a C-H taper crimp die with the measurements for 38 wadcutters back in 1975. I can’t find the spec. sheet. Anybody know the measurement in inches so I can mike my loads? I am getting stove pipes in 2 of my M-52 mags and can bend the fingers once I know the correct diamet...

Re: Sig Hammerli P240
I purchased a 354" size die and never used it as .358 HBWC with low velocity loadings seem to work fine. It is a pleasant shooter as recoil pulse is well balanced against the mass of the slide.

Re: Model 41 S&W
Happy with my current M41 w/cocking indicator. But it had to go back to factory so all 4 barrels would function uniformly. Some mention about "bolt face" had to be compatible with changes in manufacturing. Was worth the trouble to send it back to it's maker. I wish the trigger was crispy l...

45 Mount
The BME mounts are in several styles. I have one of them for the S&W 52. Hi tolerances are tight so a good fit would be expected

TC crimp
Thanks for the response. I bought my first ?Bonanza? taper crimp die from Gil Hebard (Knoxville, IL), back in the early 70's. He sent the measurements along with the die. I have been doing the "drop in" test with just the barrel for right now, I have had a few FTFs when the crimp is off, I...

Taper crimp specs for 38
I have misplaced my spec sheet from Gil Hebard for taper crimp dimensions 38 Special full wadcutter for the M-52. Could one of you bullseye reloading masters reply with the measurement? So much appreciated, as I fear I am over swaging my bullet after it is in the case. The HBWC design may compensate...

40 for BE
The Glock 24 C with a rifled, fully supported barrel seems like a plausible bullseye option. If you have poor ventilation, a non compensated replacement barrel may be better. (otherwise, bullseye loadings can be SMOKY) The factory trigger pull is advertised as 3.5#. The deficit is in the grip, as th...

Pardini Rapid fire
I have the Old Pardini SP22. I have have the weights in normal position. I installed a compensator from Shooter's Box. I have noticed a rather impressive jet of gasses shooting toward the ceiling. The recoil pulse and muzzle rise is minimal. Equally minimal is the recovery time for the following sho...

Larry's trigger in Trailside
I have both the first and second modifications of the original Swiss Trailsides with Larry's trigger installed. I am so happy with the result, I highly recommend his talents. The Xesse model (Walther) is very nice, but I have only shot it and do not own one. I would highly suggest installing the ext...

Federal Auto Match 22
Seeing lots of Federal Auto Match 22 in Minneapolis and Des Moines, limitations as low as 1 to 10 per visit. Federal, here in Anoka, MN is 24 hours a day. I don't work there, but hear the output volume is high. The latest rumor I heard was that organized buyer's groups are paying cash in advance for...

HS Victor
Way to go man! Take a little of your meter money from the piggy bank and get RINK or NILL adjustable grips for the Victor, the difference is profound and your score will convince you that you made a good choice. They do come from Deutschland, so patience is necessary. They are pricey, but cheap is n...

SP 22 weights
I have faith that the Pardini folks appreciate Newton's Laws. I am not messing with Mother Nature. However, the muzzle brake from Shooter's Box is a must buy and install add-on! The recoil, though low in the first pace is reduced even more with the brake installed. Try one. (they are a bear to clean...

small vs large PP
One thing I have benefitted from in respect to the small pocketed 45 brass: as long as it is 100% sorted to size, there will NEVER be a military swaged pocket to hang up in the Dillon primer seating stage. My twice fired empties are relegated to my "non bullseye" guns once they have been r...

Larry Carter saved my Pardini trigger. I thought I was so smart to tweak mine. I sent it to him and I vowed never to mess with it again, except for camming it over to mating with my finger.

They were made in Australia, but I called down there.....none. Numrich Arms is sold out. I have not called Smith and Wesson, but I wonder if they would tool up for just a small run? Does anybody have an inside contact at S&W?
