Re: Max # of pellets through barrel?
FWIW, these guys from the UK sell seals for the FAS 609: http://www.ebay.com/itm/FAS-AP604-amp-AP609-Air-Pistol-O-Ring-Seal-Kit-Ref-FAS1-/251796162015 They are listed as Bagnall & Kirkwood Ltd with a1tackleshop as their Ebay store. I've always had good luck buying airgun spares from the UK. This...

Re: Max # of pellets through barrel?
With heat and abrasion the primary contributors to barrel wear, primarily the rifling, it is a known fact that the expansion of air when firing a shot with a modern PCP air pistol cools the barrel; combining the natural cooling with good quality ammunition and the barrel should last a very very long...

Re: High Pressure welding bottles
For target airgun use, I use an 80 cu ft aluminum SCUBA tank which is hard to beat in price. For air pistol use, my Morini air cylinder has a volume of 0.08 L. I can fill that cylinder ~ 55 times until the SCUBA tank fill pressure reaches 150 Bar (2175 psi) from a 200 Bar fill. I get 'free' air refi...

Re: Quiet quality pellet trap in US
I have not found the UTG style trap to be noisy, compared to using a duct seal trap. But, that's shooting 7 grain pellets at ~ 500 ft/s (~ 5J). Certainly, noise is subjective (even when measured). Is a 'box-O-rags' quiet - or quieter than duct seal? I can't tell much difference for 10m airguns unles...

Re: Quiet quality pellet trap in US
I have found the UTG style pellet trap works well for 10m air pistol. It's quiet, the pellets are easily removed (doesn't use duct seal) and the cardboard face is easily replaced (9.125"x9.125"). I'm not sure it fits into the 'quality' category since it has a plastic housing. Here is a lin...
