Use 10 meter air rifle target, for dry firing should be more than close enough.

I did not use Aguila 22 short but I am using Aguila 22 SE Standard and Subsonic. Both are excellent for the price of $110 per case. I understand that's cheaper then you guys are paying for it in Mexico. I would say that they equal other ammo double or triple the price and make perfect practice ammo ...

Thanks to all for your input. You convinced me to go with gun safe, so I came home with new safe that I just purchased half an hour ago. If only you were here to help me unload this beast. Thanks again.

Re: IZH 46 M accuracy

" When the gun fires there is sometime a noticeable movement (recoil?) of perhaps 1/8" of the cross hairs on the target."

That would indicate inconsistency in something, possibly the way you grip pistol or more likely trigger release.

Insurance-the other option to gun safe

Other option to gun safe would be expended insurance coverage. I checked my home owner policy and it seams to be lower in cost then NRA's Arms Plus, but there is deductible which I don't know if it applies to ArmsCare Plus.
What was your experience making claim with NRA insurance when you had a loss?

Gun safes

Does anybody have any experience with gun safes surviving house fire or should I say guns inside of them? I know that they are rated to certain temperature, but that doesn't tell much what happens to the guns inside of them when safe is in the middle of the fire. I am weighting my options on getting...

I don't know about India, but in many countries April 1 is called April fool's day. This is the day that it is OK to lie and come up with some stories to make others believe in them.
I think that this is one of these stories.

If we are talking about "real" guns, how about .50 cal in Derringer. Would that satisfied your "real" gun quest? If we use that mentality we still would be driving model T. There are still some guys that think that real car is tuna boat with big v-8. This is not going to happened...

Re: Rapid Fire After the Olympics

How about if the ISSF abolishes all forms of projectile firearms and permits only electronic firearms which project nothing but laser beams onto an electronic target? Still happy with that? Looking on the bright side, that doesn't sound so bad. Imagine no ammo (and error that comes with it), pellets...

Problem with the original cleaning rod is that nobody I know carry jag that will fit it. You will be better of getting good quality cleaning rod and long enough that uses standard tread.
