Re: why cant women fire 60 shots but can run 42 km

Didn't Margaret win a 300 M free rifle title some time in the past, I vaguely remember it happened at a World Cup.

The zeigenhahn is a Margolin modified by the factory to make it a more reliable firearm, probably it was as good as some of the more modified Margolins that were around at the same time.

izh - 35 parts

I would suggest checking the larger European gun shop sites, they would be the first to receive any new models and parts thereof.

Paulo why don't you just put side lever cocking on your Toz, it takes most of the frame you don't need out, much simpler, less machining.

I think the point of the articles is to practice shooting under pressure at your home range, when you are shooting on your home range you are under no pressure whatsoever, so how to practice for that big event you want to win, I believe the articles show you how to prepare for the big event.

Freepistol, the olympic rings on the older hammerli free pistols mean that some one used thier free pistol to win an olypic gold medal, it is not indicative of the Swiss team using that hammerli free pistol at the olympics.

Back in the 80's the great gunsmith Don Nygord had put an approx. 2inch Douglas premium 22cal barrel on a Pardini free pistol, he also worked the trigger mechanism, it was the model with the small cocking lever, as I remember it was approximatly 6 or 7 inches long and sure didn't enhance the wobble ...

Here in OZ we refer to D as area aiming, you aim somewhere between the bottom of the black and the bottom of the target, what you have to do is find a comfortable place down there and go back to it consistently, because you are not looking for a specific place to aim, your subconcious will allow you...

The second of the MCM's in Spencers reply appears to have a rather exotic recoil dampner in so much as the slide comes back and hits a rubber block in front of the trigger guard, this probably makes the recoil very neutral because it is so low down. In Oz some dealers sold MCM's with optional barrel...

By moving the sear and hammer further foward on the MCM short you can achieve a legally higher hand position that was favoured by rapid fire shooters, in Oz they also use neoprene "green rings" otherwise known as castrating rings used by farmers to castrate sheep as buffers to dampen recoi...

Most MCM's have the slide shortened, the frame behind the hammer cut off, the hammer lightened by cutting off the knurled part and reshaping it not to pinch the web of the hand, a nice barrel weight put on the front, the trigger guard reshaped to a larger round shape, and the trigger bar relinked. I...
