Re: IZh35M going full-auto..
I know this thread is older, but I thought I’d add what I did to cure the doubling problem. My IZH had a habbit of doubling every once in a while. It doubled consistently with Federal 711B. After reading several articles on the subject, I decided to examine the gun. I stripped the pistol and used a ...

Wow
I have not paid attention to Smallbore for nearly two decades, and I’m super surprised to learn about how the sport has changed. I started shooting smallbore in 1977 as a teenager. I attended the 1978 and 1980 National Matches, and did a clinic at the OTC in 1979 IIRC there were over 500 competitors...

Re: I hope this works! Making a new IZh-35m extractor
I once shot half of a match in a European Championships without an extractor on a FAS602, without a problem. I know that many others have similar experiences. At least the 602 had an extractor. Didn't the 601 just do without? I believe others have tried to run the IZh without an extractor and encou...

The washers are not hard, but they are tough. I will try it as is and determine if hardening is needed.

Re: I hope this works!
Greetings, I look forward to your NC code with the greatest anticipation! Cheers, Dave Bear with me. I left my thumb drive at work and won't be back until Monday. I should add that only the profile was done on the mill. The angles and radii were added by hand work, maybe 45 minutes worth. Here is t...

I hope this works! Making a new IZh-35m extractor
I really enjoy shooting my IZh-35m. One problem I have is the anxiety of the extractor breaking or flying into the great unknown. I finally got off of my butt and made one. Most of the info I used can be found in this thread: http://www.targettalk.org/viewtopic.php?p=114476 I cut the part on a CNC H...

Target Talk Archive IZH35 Trigger Adjustment Posted by Bob LeDoux on August 09, 2000 at 20:28:12: My new IZH-35M pistol instructions failed to explain how to adjust the trigger weight. Here’s how: Look down at the top of the pistol. Just above the trigger is seen a hole through the upper barrel shro...

Looks like she is back to Walther. Pic from the Munich WCF. Obviously her old grips with a 2013 production pistol.

That is the new style trigger body introduced on the 16XX rifles when the safety was removed from the rear of the bolt and placed on the trigger. My 1978 1411(1611) had this style of trigger which is a 5071 or 5074, which debuted in the spring of 1978. The manuals for these triggers can be found her...

With your left hand hold the slide al the way to the rear. With your right hand grasp the upper shroud, move it to the rear, then lift up on the front while pivoting the rear down. Slide the shroud forward and off off of the frame. The bolt/slide is removed by pivoting the rear up and out of the fra...
