Don't really know what is in the guy's head. The site at least doesn't seem to be a dodgy site (or at least is a very elaborate one if it is). If he had just made a post in Shooters Lounge about the site a whole bunch of people probably would have gone to it and a few probably would have used the si...

You would have to factor in price and availability as well though. The top model FWB is much cheaper than the top models of Anschutz or Walther, and they are easier to get ahold of than Walther for sure. I think the comfortability of the rifles are worth a few points. If the rifle felt a little weir...

Possibly pushing your cheek too hard against the cheek piece? Your cheek could be pushing up against your eye.

I know Artur Aivazian shoots without and blinder and left eye open but it is far more common to use a blinder, I don't really know how he does it honestly. Sergey Belyayev also shoots without a blinder but closes his eye.

Resting on your palm is fine. You can have your hand any way that you like as long as you make sure you are consistent and the position is not forced (ie. causing muscle tension that could make you throw shots). Shooting off the palm is actually quite common (especially in smallbore standing where t...

Steyr used to have a entry level alu stock air rifle as well that had a lot less adjustments and of course cost a lot less called the LG30. Haven't seen it advertised on non-euro sites for a while. All the other brands have their entry level models as well. You might be able to find something second...

You can actually find the .flv files in your temp internet files when you watch off the site. I usually start it, pause it and let it download. Then copy the .flv file to another folder and rename and watch at my discretion with a 3rd party flv player like Wimpy, or convert to avi with Super video c...

The ISSF.TV finals for the World Cups are better to watch though, the Olympics wasn't very well produced visually and the commentary is pretty awful. The ISSF.TV finals are mostly well put together (sometimes the on-screen graphics are broken but they mostly fixed that), they have interviews with sh...

If I couldn't wear the pants and jacket shooting standing I would have to quit the sport. I have a very bent spine and when shooting standing I have to bend it more to get the rifle above my centre of balance. My back couldn't take the weight without the clothes. I don't know if much really does nee...

a few weeks back there was pictures and a discription of this stock on 6mmbr.com in the section dealing with new products.
Isn't that just a milled copy of the Anschutz stock? Is that legal?

The "MEC Project" stock is actually the French-made GE600 stock, but their website is dead it would seem. Google doesn't yield much for "GE600 rifle stock" either. MEC have their own full Mark 1 .22 stock now. The HPS System Gemini's from the UK are nice. Grunig & Elmiger's R...

Most people here use SK Standard or Match/Rifle Match for cheap practice stuff. If you need more accuracy be prepared to pay a lot more for ammo. The next up which is the Match EPS and such costs twice as much, well, in Aus all the Eley stuff is damn expensive.
