I have been shooting my LP1 for about 3 years now, are there any parts that are due for replacement ?
I will be replacing some screws that are worn out, but does the O-rings / springs / Trigger sear need to be replaced ?

Slow target changing
Note : I am a pistol shooter On hindsight, maybe the shooter should have protest that target changing was too slow. In 50m pistol, there is a rule for that, as follows : 8.6.3.1.2.2 If the shooter considers the marking or target changing too slowly, he may report this to a Range Officer. If the Rang...

How to decock a Morini CM84E
Is it possible to de-cock a Morini CM84E ?
Just pulling the trigger on a empty chamber does not sound like a good idea to me, especially for a rim-fire firearm.
Thanks.

Pardini SP New rear sight width
Is the Pardini SP New rear sight width adjustable ?
If it is, can anyone let me know how to do it ?
I would assume the two "allen-head" screws on the face of the rear sight would be the one to use to adjust the rear sight width ?
Thank you.

LP2 Differences
One thing to consider is that the LP2 has a rear sight with limited adjustability. The Rear sight notch for the LP2 is a simple "plate" with the notch cut-out. So both the width and depth of the notch is NOT changable other then perhaps getting a different "plate". This might be ...

Open or close stance
What are the advantage/dis-advantage of using the Close ( 45 degree ) or Open ( 90 degree ) stance ? I see that in the US AMU Pistol Training Guide that they suggest using the Close stance, i.e. standing at about 45 degree with respect to the firing line. While at my range, the coaches ( from China ...

Training Schedule
Thanks for all the replies. Perhaps I should give more background info to my question, in my country firearms ( including air weapons and even those AirSoft guns ) are heavily restricted. So it is not possible to bring any back home to train, hence all training be it live firing or dry firing must b...

Training Schedule
Due to work, I can only go to the range about 3 nights a week, so is it better to :
(1) train every Monday, Wednesday and Friday ?
or
(2) maybe train on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday ?
My question is whether it is better to train 3 times consecutively or with one day break in between ?

Re: Polarization filter
The "not wider than 30mm" rule, the Knoblock filter is about the same width as the Pistol Lens holder ( 40 mm ? ). However, I am told by the local range officials here that the Polarization filter is NOT legal under the new ISSF rules for 2005. Wai, Can you ask the 'local range officials' ...

Re: Polarization filter
I have used the Polarization filter from Knobloch. It takes a bit getting used to but seem to result in less eye strain. However, I am told by the local range officials here that the Polarization filter is NOT legal under the new ISSF rules for 2005. One of what I suspect will be many questions rai...

Side Blinder for Air Pistol
It seem like with the new rule, Side Blinders are only allow on the side of the non-aiming eye. I am curious as to why it is so, is this so that the TV camera can see the eyes of the shooters better ?

Does anyone know what is the size of the Pin Punch needed to punch out the pins holding the trigger mechanism and the Grip locking rod for a LP1 ?
